| 1 मैं पौलुस हूँ और मुझे परमेश्वर की इच्छा से बुलाहट मिली। और परमेश्वर ने मुझे यीशु मसीह का प्रेरित बनाया। भाई सोस्थिनेस मेरे साथ है। | 1 I, Paul, am writing this letter to you. God has called me by His will to be an apostle of Jesus Christ. Brother Sosthenes is with me. |
| 2 और हम उसके साथ कुरिन्थुस में परमेश्वर के चर्च को नमस्कार करते हैं। परमेश्वर ने आपको पवित्र बनाया क्योंकि आप यीशु मसीह के हैं। परमेश्वर ने आपको बुलाहट दी और आप उसके पवित्र लोग बन गए। परमेश्वर ने यह उन सब के लिए किया जो अलग-अलग स्थानों में यीशु के नाम को पुकारते हैं और जो उसको प्रभु के रूप में अपनाते हैं। मसीह हमारे लिए प्रभु है और उन सब के लिए जो उस पर विश्वास करते हैं। | 2 Together with him, we greet God's church in Corinth. God has called you to Himself. Now you belong to Jesus Christ and have become His holy people. This applies to all who in different places come to Jesus Christ and acknowledge Him as Lord. He is not only our Lord but also the Lord of all who believe in Him. |
| 3 हमारे पिता परमेश्वर और प्रभु यीशु मसीह की ओर से आपको अनुग्रह और शान्ति मिले। | 3 God is our Father, and Jesus Christ is our Lord. May God fill you with His grace, and may Jesus bring peace to your hearts. |
| 4 आप यीशु मसीह के हैं और परमेश्वर ने आपको अपना अनुग्रह दिया। इसलिए मैं हमेशा आपके लिए अपने परमेश्वर का धन्यवाद करता हूँ। | 4 I always thank God for you and for the grace He has given you through Jesus Christ. |
| 5 मसीह के कारण परमेश्वर ने आपको सभी उपहारों से अमीर बनाया। उसने आपको सभी ज्ञान और अच्छी तरह से बोलने की क्षमता दी। | 5 Because of Christ, God has enriched you with all His gifts. He has given you the ability to clearly communicate the truth and has given you deep insight into spiritual things. |
| 6 जब आपने मसीह के बारे में सुना तब उसके वचन ने आपके दिलों में गहरी जड़ें पकड़ लीं। | 6 This confirms that the message about Christ has taken root in your hearts and become part of your lives. |
| 7 इसलिए आपको आत्मिक उपहारों की कोई कमी नहीं। और बड़ी आशा के साथ आप उस दिन का बेसब्री से इन्तज़ार करते हैं जब हमारा प्रभु यीशु मसीह वापस आएगा। | 7 That is why you do not lack any spiritual gifts. Now you look forward with hope to the day when our Lord Jesus Christ comes again. |
| 8 प्रभु आपको बिल्कुल अन्त तक मजबूत बनाता रहेगा। वह समय आएगा जब हमारा प्रभु यीशु मसीह धरती पर वापस आएगा। उस दिन आप उसके सामने खड़े होंगे और वह आपको पाप में दोषी नहीं पाएगा। | 8 The Lord will strengthen you until the day of His return, so that on that day you will be able to stand before Him and be blameless. |
| 9 परमेश्वर यह करेगा क्योंकि वह अपने वादों के प्रति विश्वासयोग्य है। उसने आपको अपने पास बुलाया। और अब आपके पास उसके बेटे यीशु मसीह की संगति है जो हमारे प्रभु बन गये। | 9 God will do this because He is faithful to His promises. He called you to Himself. Now you have fellowship with His Son Jesus Christ, our Lord. |
| 10 हे भाइयों, हमारे प्रभु यीशु मसीह के नाम में मैं आपसे विनती करता हूँ कि मेल मिलाप से रहें और एक दूसरे से झगड़ा न करें क्योंकि झगड़ों से फूट पड़ती है। एक दूसरे को समझना और एक ही लक्ष्य बनाना सीखें। | 10 Brothers, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, I urge you to live in harmony and avoid divisions. Be understanding toward one another and set common goals. |
| 11 हे भाइयों, खलोए के परिवार ने मुझे बताया कि आप एक दूसरे के साथ बहस कर रहे हैं। | 11 My brothers, Chloe's family told me that you are arguing with one another. |
| 12 उन्होंने मुझे बताया कि आप में से कुछ लोग कहते हैं, "मैं पौलुस का चेला हूँ।" दूसरा कहता है, "मैं अपुल्लोस का चेला हूँ।" और तीसरा बहस करता है, "मैं पतरस का चेला हूँ।" और कोई और कहता है, "मैं मसीह का चेला हूँ।” | 12 They informed me that one of you says, “I am a disciple of Paul.” Another says, “I am a disciple of Apollos.” A third declares, “I am a disciple of Peter.” And still another adds, “I am a disciple of Christ.” |
| 13 लेकिन मसीह हमें एकजुट करता है, बाँटता नहीं। आप कहते हैं कि आप पौलुस के चेले हैं। लेकिन क्या पौलुस आपके पापों के लिए क्रूस पर मरा? क्या आपको पौलुस के नाम में पानी का बपतिस्मा मिला? बिल्कुल नहीं। | 13 Christ is one. We believe in Him, and He brings us unity, not division. Yet you call yourselves disciples of Paul. Did Paul die on the cross for your sins? Were you baptized in the name of Paul? Of course not. |
| 14 मैं परमेश्वर का धन्यवाद करता हूँ कि आपके चर्च में मैंने सिर्फ़ क्रिस्पुस और गयुस को बपतिस्मा दिया। | 14 I thank God that in your church I baptized only Crispus and Gaius. |
| 15 और कोई यह न कहें कि मैंने अपने नाम से बपतिस्मा दिया। | 15 Let no one say that I baptized in my own name. |
| 16 मैंने स्तिफनास के परिवार को भी बपतिस्मा दिया। और मुझे किसी और को बपतिस्मा देना याद नहीं। | 16 I also baptized Stephen's family. I don't remember whether I baptized anyone else. |
| 17 मसीह ने मुझे लोगों को बपतिस्मा देने के लिए नहीं लेकिन अच्छी खबर को फैलाने के लिए भेजा था। लेकिन मैं इंसान के नज़रिये से क्रूस पर चढ़ाए गए मसीह के बारे में प्रचार नहीं करता। नहीं तो, मेरा सन्देश अपनी शक्ति खो देगा। | 17 Christ did not send me to baptize, but to share the Good News. But I do not preach about Christ from the point of view of human wisdom. Otherwise, the cross of Christ would lose its power. |
| 18 जो अनन्त विनाश की ओर जा रहा है वह सोचता है कि क्रूस के बारे में सन्देश मूर्खता है। लेकिन हम उद्धार की ओर जा रहे हैं। हम क्रूस पर चढ़ाए गये मसीह पर विश्वास करते हैं और हम परमेश्वर की शक्ति को देख सकते हैं। | 18 Those who are going to destruction consider the preaching of the cross to be foolishness. But we are going toward salvation. And for us, the preaching of the crucified Christ is God's power. |
| 19 परमेश्वर शास्त्रों में कहता है, “मैं इंसानी बुद्धि को शून्य में बदल दूँगा। मैं बुद्धिमान लोगों के नज़रिये को ठुकरा दूँगा।” | 19 God says in Scripture, “I will destroy the wisdom that the wise are proud of. I will show that their reasoning cannot lead to My truth” (Isaiah 29:14). |
| 20 दुनियाँ क्रूस पर चढ़ाए गए मसीह के सन्देश को नहीं समझ सकती। पढ़े लिखे लोग, वैज्ञानिक और ज्ञानी लोग इन्सान के नज़रिये से क्रूस के विषय में बहस करते हैं जिसे परमेश्वर मूर्खता कहता है। | 20 Look at the educated people, scholars, and philosophers of our time who discuss the cross from the point of view of human wisdom. Has God not shown that the wisdom of the world is foolishness before Him? |
| 21 दुनियाँ इंसानी बुद्धि के नज़रिये से परमेश्वर के बारे में बहस करती है। लेकिन फिर भी लोग नहीं समझ पाते कि परमेश्वर कौन है। इसलिए परमेश्वर ने अपनी बुद्धि दिखाई। उसने उन लोगों को बचाने का फैसला किया जो क्रूस पर चढ़ाए गये मसीह के सन्देश पर विश्वास करते हैं। लेकिन ऐसा सन्देश इस दुनियाँ के लोगों को बेवकूफी लगता है। | 21 The people of this world debate about God from the point of view of human wisdom. But they still cannot understand who He is and how great God's wisdom is. That is why God decided to save believers through the message about the crucified Christ, which seems foolish to the world. |
| 22 जब यहूदी लोग क्रूस के बारे में सन्देश सुनते हैं तब वे माँग करते हैं कि हम इसे अलौकिक शक्ति के साथ साबित करें। लेकिन अन्यजाति लोगों के लिए हमारे सन्देश का कोई मतलब नहीं, क्योंकि वे इसमें कुछ भी बुद्धिमानी नहीं देखते। | 22 The Jews demand supernatural manifestations of God's power. But the Greeks and people of other nations seek wisdom and want to understand everything through logic and philosophical reasoning. |
| 23 जब हम प्रचार करते हैं कि यीशु को क्रूस पर चढ़ाया गया था तब इससे यहूदियों को ठेस लगती है। और अन्यजाति लोगों को हमारा सन्देश मूर्खता लगता है। | 23 But we preach that Christ was crucified. This causes outrage among the Jews, and to the Greeks and people of other nations, such preaching seems foolish and meaningless. |
| 24 लेकिन परमेश्वर ने हमें अपने पास बुलाया। और हमारे बीच में यहूदी और अन्यजाति लोग हैं। क्रूस पर चढ़ाया गया मसीह हमारे लिए परमेश्वर की शक्ति और परमेश्वर की बुद्धि बन गया। | 24 God called both the Jews and the people of other nations to Himself. And for us, the crucified Christ is God's power and God's wisdom. |
| 25 अविश्वासी सोचते हैं कि मसीह की मौत परमेश्वर की मूर्खतापूर्ण योजना है। लेकिन मैं ऐसे लोगों से कहूँगा कि परमेश्वर की मूर्खता इंसान की बुद्धि से अधिक है। दुनियाँ कहती है कि जब मसीह क्रूस पर मरा तब परमेश्वर ने अपनी कमज़ोरी दिखाई। लेकिन मैं इन लोगों से कहूँगा कि परमेश्वर की कमज़ोरी इन्सान की शक्ति से अधिक है। | 25 Unbelievers consider Christ's death to be God's foolishness. But even this foolishness of God surpasses any human wisdom. The world thinks that when Christ died on the cross, God demonstrated His weakness. But even this weakness of God surpasses any human power. |
| 26 हे भाइयों, वह परमेश्वर था जिसने आपको बुलाया। लेकिन सोचिए कि आप कौन हैं। इन्सान के नज़रिये से आपके बीच में कुछ पढ़े लिखे और कुछ प्रभावशाली लोग हैं। आपके बीच कुछ ऊँचे सामाजिक पदों वाले लोग हैं। | 26 Brothers, God has called you to Himself. Consider who you are. Judging by human standards, there are not many among you who are educated and influential. There are few among you who hold high positions in society. |
| 27 इस दुनियाँ के लोग कहते हैं कि आप मूर्ख और कमज़ोर हैं। और वे खुद को बुद्धिमान और मजबूत मानते हैं। लेकिन परमेश्वर ने आपको चुना ताकि यह दुनियाँ एहसास कर सके कि यह परमेश्वर के सामने मूर्ख और कमज़ोर है। | 27 The world considers you foolish and weak, while it considers itself wise and strong. Yet God has chosen you to show the people of this world that human wisdom and strength are nothing before Him. |
| 28 आपके पास समाज में ऊँचा सामाजिक पद नहीं, इसलिए दुनियाँ आपसे घृणा करती है। दुनियाँ की नज़रों में आपकी कोई कीमत नहीं। लेकिन परमेश्वर ने आपको चुना ताकि इस दुनियाँ के लोग यह समझ सकें कि उनके पास घमंड करने के लिए कुछ भी नहीं। | 28 You do not hold high positions in society, so the world despises you. In the eyes of the world, you are considered of no value. But God has chosen you so that the people of this world may understand that they have nothing to be proud of. |
| 29 और जब हम परमेश्वर के सामने खड़े होंगे तब कोई भी व्यक्ति उसके सामने अपनी बड़ाई नहीं कर सकेगा। | 29 This means that no one can boast about himself before God. |
| 30 परमेश्वर ने हमें यीशु मसीह के साथ एकजुट किया जो हमारे लिए परमेश्वर की बुद्धि बन गया। मसीह हमारी धार्मिकता, हमारी शुद्धता और हमारा छुटकारा बन गया। | 30 God has united us with Jesus Christ. For us, Christ is God's wisdom. He is our righteousness, sanctification, and redemption. |
| 31 इसलिए शास्त्र कहते हैं, “अपने आप की प्रशंसा न करें। उसके कामों के लिए प्रभु की स्तुति करें।” | 31 That is why Scripture says, “Do not praise yourselves, but praise the Lord for His works” (Jeremiah 9:24). |
अध्याय 2 | Chapter 2 |
| 1 हे भाइयों, जब मैं आपके पास आया तब मैं आपको परमेश्वर के बारे में प्रचार सुनाया। लेकिन मैंने आपको सुन्दर शब्दों से खुश करने की कोशिश नहीं की। और मैंने इन्सान के नज़रिये से परमेश्वर के बारे में बात नहीं की। | 1 Brothers, when I came to you, I preached to you about God. But I didn't try to impress you with my clever words, and I did not speak about God from the point of view of human wisdom. |
| 2 मैंने आपको सिर्फ़ यीशु मसीह के बारे में प्रचार करने का फ़ैसला किया जिसे क्रूस पर चढ़ाया गया था। और मैं किसी और बात के बारे में प्रचार नहीं करना चाहता था। | 2 I decided to preach only about the crucified Jesus Christ. And I did not want to speak about anything else. |
| 3 जब मैं आप के साथ था तब मुझे एहसास हुआ कि मैं कितना मजबूर था और मैं समझ गया कि मुझे परमेश्वर की शक्ति की ज़रूरत थी। मैंने परमेश्वर की उपस्थिति में बड़ा भय और कंपकंपी का अनुभव किया। | 3 When I was with you, I realized how helpless I was and understood that I needed God's power. I experienced deep reverence and awe before God. |
| 4 जब मैंने क्रूस पर चढ़ाए गये यीशु के बारे में प्रचार किया तब इन्सान के नज़रिये से मेरे शब्द ठोस नहीं थे। लेकिन पवित्र आत्मा ने अपनी शक्ति दिखाई। | 4 When I preached about the crucified Christ, my words did not seem convincing from the point of view of human wisdom. But you saw how the Holy Spirit worked and how God demonstrated His power. |
| 5 मैं चाहता था कि आप परमेश्वर की शक्ति को अनुभव करें जिससे कि आपका विश्वास मज़बूत बन सके। लेकिन अगर कोई व्यक्ति इन्सान के नज़रिये से क्रूस पर चढ़ाए गये यीशु की बात करता है तो उसका विश्वास मज़बूत नींव पर खड़ा नहीं रह पाएगा। | 5 I wanted your faith to be based not on human wisdom, but on the power of God. |
| 6 जब हम आत्मिक रूप से परिपक्व विश्वासियों के बीच में होते हैं तब हम बुद्धि के बारे में प्रचार करते हैं। लेकिन इस बुद्धि का इस दुनियाँ की बुद्धि से कोई लेना-देना नहीं। आपको जानना चाहिए कि इस दुनियाँ के शासक जिस बुद्धि से जीते हैं, उसका अस्तित्व ही खत्म हो जाएगा। | 6 When we are among spiritually mature believers, we preach God's wisdom. But this wisdom has nothing in common with the wisdom of this world. It is not based on human reasoning and does not depend on those who now rule this world. Their power is temporary and will come to an end soon. |
| 7 दुनियाँ को बनाने से पहले ही परमेश्वर ने फ़ैसला कर लिया था कि वह अपनी गुप्त बुद्धि को हम पर प्रकट करेगा ताकि हम उसकी महिमा में प्रवेश कर सकें। और अब हम खुलकर परमेश्वर की इस बुद्धि के बारे में बात करते हैं। | 7 Even before the creation of the world, God decided to reveal His secret wisdom to us so that we could enter His glory. Now we speak openly about this God’s wisdom. |
| 8 इस दुनियाँ के शासकों ने परमेश्वर की बुद्धि को नहीं समझा। और अगर वे इसे समझते तो वे हमारे तेजस्वी प्रभु को क्रूस पर नहीं चढ़ाते। | 8 Those who rule this world do not understand God's wisdom. If they had understood it, they would not have crucified our glorious Lord. |
| 9 शास्त्र कहते हैं, “न किसी ने देखा, न किसी ने सुना और न कोई अपने दिल में कल्पना कर सका कि परमेश्वर ने उन लोगों के लिए क्या तैयार किया है जो उस से प्यार करते हैं।” | 9 Scripture says, "No one has seen, no one has heard, and no one can even imagine what God has prepared for those who love Him" (Isaiah 64:4). |
| 10 लेकिन पवित्र आत्मा ने परमेश्वर की योजनाओं को हम पर प्रकट किया। यह आत्मा हर जगह प्रवेश करती है और हमें परमेश्वर के प्रकाशन की गहराई को दिखाती है। | 10 But God has revealed these things to us through His Spirit. His Spirit penetrates all things and shows us the depths of God's revelation. |
| 11 कोई भी नहीं जानता कि व्यक्ति क्या सोचता है। लेकिन व्यक्ति की आत्मा उसके विचारों को जानती है। उसी तरह से कोई भी नहीं जानता कि परमेश्वर क्या सोचता है। लेकिन परमेश्वर की आत्मा परमेश्वर के विचारों को जानती है। | 11 No one knows what is going on within a person except his own spirit. In the same way, only the Spirit of God knows the thoughts of God. |
| 12 परमेश्वर ने हमें अपनी आत्मा दी जिसका इस दुनियाँ की आत्मा से कोई लेना-देना नहीं। परमेश्वर की आत्मा हमारे अंदर रहती है ताकि हम जान सकें कि परमेश्वर ने हमें उपहार के रूप में क्या दिया है। | 12 God has given us His Spirit, who has nothing in common with the spirit of this world. Now God's Spirit lives within us so that we can know what God has given us. |
| 13 इन्सान की बुद्धि हमें आत्मिक बातें नहीं सिखा सकती। इसलिए हम आत्मिक बातों को इन्सान के नज़रिये से नहीं बोलते। पवित्र आत्मा हमें सिखाती है। और हम आत्मिक बातों को आत्मिक नज़रिये से बोलते हैं। | 13 We do not speak about spiritual matters from the point of view of human wisdom. Instead, it is the Holy Spirit who teaches us. That is why we speak about spiritual matters from a spiritual point of view. |
| 14 सांसारिक दिमाग वाला व्यक्ति अपनी समझ का सहारा लेता है। वह उसे स्वीकार नहीं करता जो परमेश्वर की आत्मा की ओर से आता है और वह इसे मूर्खता समझता है। सांसारिक दिमाग वाला व्यक्ति आत्मिक बातों के बारे में इन्सान के नज़रिये से सोचता है। इसलिए वह आत्मिक बातों को समझ नहीं पाता। | 14 A worldly-minded person relies on his own understanding. He does not accept what comes from the Spirit of God and considers it foolishness. Such a person judges spiritual matters from the human point of view. That is why he is unable to understand spiritual matters. |
| 15 आत्मिक व्यक्ति सब चीज़ों को आत्मिक नज़रिये से आंकता है। लेकिन सांसारिक दिमाग वाला व्यक्ति अपनी समझ का सहारा लेता है और वह किसी आत्मिक व्यक्ति को सही से आंक नहीं सकता। | 15 The spiritual person evaluates everything from a spiritual point of view. But no one can evaluate him correctly. |
| 16 प्रभु के विचारों को कौन समझ सकता है? उसे कौन सिखा सकता है? परमेश्वर की आत्मा ने हमें मसीह की तरह सोचने की योग्यता दी इसलिए हमारे पास मसीह का दिमाग है। | 16 Can anyone understand the Lord's thoughts or teach Him anything? No. But God's Spirit has given us the ability to think like Christ. Now we have the mind of Christ. |
अध्याय 3 | Chapter 3 |
| 1 हे भाइयों, मैं आपसे आत्मिक लोगों की तरह बात नहीं कर सका क्योंकि आप अभी भी अपने पुराने पापी स्वभाव के अधीन हैं। इसलिए मैंने आपसे बच्चों की तरह बात की जिन्हें मसीह में आत्मिक रूप से बढ़ना चाहिए। | 1 Brothers, I could not speak to you as spiritually mature people, because you still follow your old, sinful nature. That is why I spoke to you as babes in Christ who should grow spiritually. |
| 2 जब मैंने आपको सिखाया तब मेरी शिक्षा दूध की तरह थी। मैंने ऐसा इसलिए किया क्योंकि आप सख्त खाना नहीं खा सकते थे। और अब तक आप उन बातों को नहीं समझ सकते जिन्हें आत्मिक रूप से परिपक्व विश्वासी समझते हैं। | 2 I gave you the simplest teaching, just as babies are given milk and not solid food. I did this because at that time you were not yet able to understand deep spiritual truths. Even now, you are unable to understand what spiritually mature believers understand. |
| 3 अभी तक आप अपने पुराने पापी स्वभाव के अधीन हैं। आप जलन रखते हैं और आप एक दूसरे के साथ झगड़ा करते हैं। आप अपने बीच में बंटवारा करते हैं। आपके काम दिखाते हैं कि आप अपने पुराने पापी स्वभाव के अधीन हैं। आप इस दुनियाँ के लोगों की तरह व्यवहार करते हैं। | 3 You still follow your old, sinful nature. You envy and quarrel with one another. All this shows that you are still subject to your sinful nature and behave like ordinary people of this world. |
| 4 एक कहता है, "मैं पौलुस का चेला हूँ।" और दूसरा कहता है, “मैं अपुल्लोस का चेला हूँ।” आप एक दूसरे के विरोधी हैं और आप वैसे काम करते हैं जैसे आपका पापी स्वभाव चाहता है। | 4 One person says, “I am a disciple of Paul.” Another one states, “I am a disciple of Apollos.” You act according to your sinful nature. |
| 5 और पौलुस कौन है? और अपुल्लोस कौन है? हम परमेश्वर के सेवक हैं। और परमेश्वर ने हमारा उपयोग किया ताकि आप मसीह पर विश्वास कर सकें। हम में से हर एक ने वह काम किया जो प्रभु ने हमें सौंपा था। | 5 Who is Paul? And who is Apollos? We just serve God. God used us to bring you to faith in Christ. Each of us has done what the Lord has entrusted us to do. |
| 6 मैंने आपके दिल में परमेश्वर के वचन के बीज बोए और अपुल्लोस ने उनमें पानी डाला। लेकिन यह परमेश्वर था जिसने बीजों को बढ़ाया। | 6 I planted the seeds of God's Word in your hearts, and Apollos watered them. But it was God who made the seeds grow. |
| 7 इसलिए यह महत्वपूर्ण नहीं कि बीजों को कौन बोता है। इससे कोई फर्क नहीं पड़ता कि उनमें पानी कौन डालता है। लेकिन महत्वपूर्ण यह है कि उन बीजों को उगाने वाला परमेश्वर है। | 7 So it is not important who plants the seeds. It doesn't matter who waters them. But the important thing is that God makes the seeds grow. |
| 8 जब हम बीज बोते हैं और पानी देते हैं तब हम अपने सामने एक ही लक्ष्य रखते हैं। लेकिन हर किसी को वह इनाम मिलेगा जिसका वह हकदार है। | 8 Those who sow and water the seeds work together toward the same goal. And each one will receive the reward he deserves. |
| 9 मैं और अपुल्लोस एक ही खेत में परमेश्वर के लिए मिलकर काम करते हैं। और यह आप ही थे जो परमेश्वर का खेत बन गए। आप वह इमारत भी बन गए जिसे हम साथ-साथ परमेश्वर के लिए बनाते हैं। | 9 Apollos and I work together for God in the same field. And you have become that field of God. You have also become the building that we are building together for the Lord. |
| 10 परमेश्वर ने मुझे अपना अनुग्रह दिया। और मैंने अनुभवी बनाने वाले की तरह नींव रखी और अब दूसरा इसके ऊपर बना रहा है। लेकिन हर बनाने वाले को अपना काम अच्छी तरह से करना है। | 10 God has given me His grace. As a skilled builder, I laid the foundation, and another one continues to build on it. But each one must be careful how he does his work. |

Some use gold, silver, and precious stones. But others use wood, hay, and straw. |
| 13 लेकिन वह दिन आएगा जब परमेश्वर हर एक बनाने वाले के काम को आग से परखेगा। आग दिखाएगी कि हर व्यक्ति ने अपना काम कितना अच्छा किया है। | 13 The day will come when God will test each person's work by fire. The fire will reveal how well each person has done his work. |
| 14 अगर व्यक्ति का काम आग से नहीं जलेगा तो ऐसे बनाने वाले को उसका इनाम मिलेगा। | 14 If a person's work withstands the fire, he will receive a reward. |
| 15 और अगर इन्सान का काम जल जाएगा तो वह उसे खो देगा जो उसने बनाया था। लेकिन वह बनाने वाला उसी तरह बच जाएगा जिस तरह से लोगों को आग में जलने से बचाया जाता है। | 15 But if a person's work is burned, he will lose what he has built. But he himself will be saved, like someone who survived the fire. |
| 16 क्या आप नहीं जानते कि आप परमेश्वर के मन्दिर बन गए और परमेश्वर की आत्मा आपके अन्दर रहती है? | 16 Don’t you know that you are God's temple and that God's Spirit lives within you? |
| 17 परमेश्वर ने अपने मन्दिर को पवित्र किया। और यह आप ही थे जो यह मन्दिर बनें। अगर कोई व्यक्ति परमेश्वर के मन्दिर को नष्ट करेगा तो परमेश्वर ऐसे व्यक्ति के जीवन को नष्ट कर देगा। | 17 God has sanctified this temple, and you have become that temple. If anyone destroys this temple, God will destroy that person's life. |
| 18 इस दुनियाँ के लोग कभी नहीं समझ पाएंगे कि परमेश्वर की बुद्धि क्या है। इसलिए अगर दुनियाँ मानती है कि आपके पास बुद्धि है तो आपके पास परमेश्वर की बुद्धि नहीं। और आप अपने आप को धोखा देते हैं। लेकिन अगर इस दुनियाँ के लोग आपको मूर्ख समझते हैं तो इसका मतलब है कि परमेश्वर ने आपको क्रूस पर चढ़ाये हुए मसीह के द्वारा अपनी बुद्धि से भर दिया है। | 18 The people of this world will never understand what God's wisdom is. So if the world calls you wise, do not think that you have God's wisdom. Otherwise, you will be deceiving yourselves. But if the world considers you foolish because of your faith in the crucified Christ, it means that God has given you His true wisdom. |
| 19 इन्सान की बुद्धि परमेश्वर की दृष्टि में मूर्खता है। शास्त्र कहते हैं, “इस दुनियाँ के लोग खुद को बुद्धिमान कहते हैं। लेकिन परमेश्वर दिखाएगा कि लोग अपनी बुद्धि से खुद को धोखा देते हैं और वे अपने ही जाल में फंस जाते हैं।” | 19 What the world considers wisdom is foolishness in the eyes of God. Scripture says, "The people of this world consider themselves wise, but they deceive themselves, because their wisdom turns against them. God sees them falling into the nets that they have set for themselves" (Job 5:13). |

Everything you have was given to you by God. And it is He who uses different people to help you grow spiritually. |

You think you've become so spiritually rich that you now have the authority we don't have. How I wish it were true! Then we could share that authority with you. |

Then it will become clear to me whether those who are proud have the power of the Holy Spirit, or whether these are just empty words. |

This was a sign of purification. Christ became a sacrifice for our sins, like the Passover lamb. Through Him, God has already cleansed you from sin, and now you are like fresh dough without yeast. That is why you must remove everything old and sinful from your lives. |

In such a case, do not have any fellowship with him, or even eat at the same table with him. |

If God has entrusted you with such a great responsibility, is there no one among you who can settle minor everyday matters? |

Would it not be better for you to endure it when you are wronged or cheated? |

If you think otherwise, you deceive yourselves. These include those who live in sexual immorality, worship idols, and commit adultery. It also includes men who have sexual relations with other men for money or practice homosexuality. |
| 10 ऐसे लोग चोरी करते हैं, रिश्वत लेते हैं और शराब पीते हैं। वे कसम खाकर दूसरों का अपमान करते हैं और धोखाधड़ी करते हैं। याद रखें कि अधर्मी को परमेश्वर की विरासत नहीं मिलेगी और वह परमेश्वर के राज्य में प्रवेश नहीं करेगा। | 10 There are also those who steal, take advantage of others, and get drunk. They insult others with swear words and commit fraud. Remember that such people who live in sin will not receive God's inheritance or enter the Kingdom of God. |

But now God has cleansed you from sin, sanctified you, and given you His righteousness. God has done all this through our Lord Jesus Christ and through the work of His Spirit. |

| 14 और जैसे परमेश्वर ने यीशु को मरे हुओं में से जिलाया उसी तरह से वह हमारे शरीर को भी अपनी शक्ति से जिलाएगा। | 14 Just as God raised the Lord Jesus from the dead, so He will also raise us by His power. |
| 15 क्या आप नहीं जानते कि चर्च मसीह का शरीर है और हम उसके शरीर के अंग हैं? इसलिए हमें यह अधिकार नहीं कि जो कुछ मसीह का है उसे ले लें और उसे ऐसी औरत को दे दें जो वेश्यावृत्ति में लगी हुई है। बिल्कुल, हमें यह नहीं करना है! | 15 Don't you know that your bodies belong to Christ? God has given you His Spirit, who now lives in you, so you no longer belong to yourselves. |
| 20 मसीह ने आपके लिए बड़ी कीमत चुकाई। अब आपकी आत्मा और आपका शरीर उसी का है। इसलिए आपके शरीर को परमेश्वर की महिमा करनी चाहिए। | 20 Christ paid a high price for you. | 1 आपने मुझे लिखा कि आदमी के लिए बेहतर है कि वह शादी न करे और किसी महिला के साथ शारीरिक संबंध न रखे। | 1 You wrote to me that it is better for a man not to marry at all, so that not to have sexual relations with a woman. |
| 2 लेकिन ऐसा आदमी इस खतरे में है कि वह भ्रष्ट जीवन जीना शुरू कर सकता है। इसलिए हर आदमी की पत्नी और हर औरत का पति होना चाहिए। | 2 But in that case, he might be unable to control his sexual desire and enter into immoral relationships. That is why every man should have his own wife, and every woman should have her own husband. |
| 3 पति को अपनी पत्नी की यौन ज़रूरतों को पूरा करना चाहिए। और पत्नी को अपने पति की यौन ज़रूरतों को पूरा करना चाहिए। | 3 The husband should be caring and attentive toward his wife in their intimate relationship, and the wife should do the same for her husband. |
| 4 पत्नी को अपने पति के साथ शारीरिक संबंध बनाने से इन्कार नहीं करना चाहिए क्योंकि उसका शरीर उसके पति का है। पति को भी अपनी पत्नी के साथ शारीरिक संबंध बनाने से इन्कार नहीं करना चाहिए क्योंकि उसका शरीर उसकी पत्नी का है। | 4 The wife should not deny her husband sexual relations, because now she belongs to him. In the same way, the husband should not deny his wife either, because now he belongs to her. |

In the same way, a believing husband brings holiness into his marriage and has a spiritual influence on his unbelieving wife. You also bring holiness into the lives of your children to protect them from the influence of sin. |
| 15 अगर कोई अविश्वासी तलाक लेना चाहता है तो उसे तलाक दे दें। इस मामले में, विश्वासी पति या विश्वासी पत्नी अब अविश्वासी के साथ शादी के बंधन में नहीं। प्रभु चाहता है कि हम शान्ति से रहें। | 15 If an unbeliever wants to divorce, let him do so. In such a case, the believing husband or believing wife is no longer bound by the ties of marriage to the unbeliever. The Lord wants us to live in peace. |
| 16 हे पत्नी, क्या आप नहीं समझती कि आप अपने अविश्वासी पति को उद्धार दिला सकती हैं? और हे पति, क्या आप नहीं समझते कि आप अपनी अविश्वासी पत्नी को उद्धार दिला सकते हैं? | 16 Wife, don’t you realize that you may lead your unbelieving husband to salvation? And you, husband, don’t you realize that you may lead your unbelieving wife to salvation? |
| 17 परमेश्वर के पास हम में से हर एक के लिए योजना है। और हर व्यक्ति को वही करना चाहिए जो प्रभु चाहता है। जो मैं सिखाता हूँ उसका पालन सभी चर्चों को करना है। | 17 God has a plan for each of us. That is why everyone should do what the Lord wants. This is what I teach in all the churches, and all believers should follow it. |
| 18 अगर कोई यहूदी व्यक्ति मसीह के पास आया है तो उसे यह नहीं छिपाना चाहिए कि वह खतना किया हुआ है। और अगर अन्यजाति व्यक्ति मसीह के पास आया है तो उसे खतना नहीं कराना चाहिए। | 18 If a Jew has come to Christ, he should not hide that he was circumcised. And if a person from another nation has come to Christ, he should not be circumcised. |
| 19 अब इस बात से कोई फर्क नहीं पड़ता कि किसका खतना हुआ है और किसका नहीं। लेकिन हकीकत में फर्क इससे पड़ता है कि हम परमेश्वर की आज्ञाओं को मानें। | 19 Now it is not important who was circumcised and who was not. But what really matters is that we all should keep God’s commandments. |
| 20 जब हम मसीह के पास आए तब हम में से हर एक अलग-अलग परिस्थितियों में थे। और ये परिस्थितियाँ हमारे जीवन में तब तक रहेंगी जब तक परमेश्वर उन्हें बदल न दे। | 20 When we came to Christ, each of us was in different circumstances. And these circumstances will remain in our lives until God changes them. |
| 21 अगर उस समय आप गुलाम थे जब आप परमेश्वर के पास आए तो अपने बारे में यह न सोचें कि आप दूसरे विश्वासियों से बुरे हैं। लेकिन अगर आपको आज़ाद होने का मौका मिले तो इसका लाभ उठाएं। | 21 If you were a slave when you came to God, do not think that you are less worthy than other believers. But if you have the opportunity to become free, take advantage of it. |
| 22 जो गुलाम प्रभु के पास आया, उसे अपने बारे में सोचना चाहिए कि अब वह प्रभु में आज़ाद हो गया है। और जो आज़ाद व्यक्ति मसीह के पास आया, उसे अपने बारे में सोचना चाहिए कि अब वह मसीह का गुलाम बन गया है। | 22 A slave who has come to the Lord should know that now he is free in the Lord. And a free person who has come to Christ should know that now he is a slave of Christ. |
| 23 मसीह ने आपके लिए बड़ी कीमत चुकाई है। इसलिए लोगों के गुलाम न बनें। | 23 Christ paid a high price for you. Now your life belongs not to people, but to Christ. So do not become slaves to people. |
| 24 हे भाइयों, जब आप परमेश्वर के पास आए तब आपमें से हर एक की परिस्थितियाँ अलग-अलग थीं। और ये परिस्थितियाँ आपके जीवन में तब तक रहेंगी जब तक परमेश्वर उन्हें बदल नहीं देता। | 24 Brothers, when you came to Christ, each of you was in different circumstances. And these circumstances will remain in your lives until God changes them. |
| 25 मुझे कुँवारी लड़कियों के लिए प्रभु से कोई आज्ञा नहीं मिली। लेकिन मैं सलाह देना चाहता हूँ क्योंकि मुझे प्रभु से दया मिली है और मैं ईमानदारी से उसकी सेवा करता हूँ। | 25 I have no direct instruction from the Lord regarding unmarried girls. But I give my advice as a person whom the Lord has entrusted to serve Him by His mercy. |
| 26 अब हम कठिन परीक्षाओं से गुज़र रहे हैं। इसलिए मैं सोचता हूँ कि किसी व्यक्ति को अपनी वैवाहिक स्थिति को न बदलना ही बेहतर है। | 26 Now we are going through difficult times. That is why I think it is better for a person not to change his marital status. |
| 27 अगर आप पहले से ही शादीशुदा हैं तो तलाक न दें। और अगर आपने अपनी पत्नी को खो दिया है तो दूसरी न ढूँढें। | 27 If you are already married, do not seek a divorce. But if you are left without a wife, do not look for another one. |
| 28 लेकिन अगर आप शादी करें तो आप पाप नहीं करेंगे। और अगर किसी लड़की की शादी हो तो वह भी पाप नहीं करेगी। अब हम मुश्किल समय से गुजर रहे हैं। इसलिए शादीशुदा लोग इस जीवन में कष्टों का सामना करेंगे। और मुझे आप पर दया आती है। | 28 But if you marry, you will not sin. And if a woman marries, she will not sin either. Now we are going through difficult times, that is why married people will face hardships. But I want to keep you from unnecessary difficulties. |
| 29 हे भाइयों, मैं आपको बताना चाहता हूँ कि हमारे पास ज़्यादा समय नहीं बचा है। इसलिए शादीशुदा व्यक्ति को अपना सारा समय सिर्फ़ अपनी पत्नी को नहीं देना चाहिए। | 29 Brothers, I tell you that our life on earth is very short. So a married man should not devote all his time only to his wife. He should also serve the Lord. |
| 30 और रोने वाला पूरी तरह से अपने दुःख में डूब न जाए। और आनन्द करने वाले को आनन्द पूरी तरह से पकड़ न ले। और जब आप चीजें खरीदते हैं तब आप उनके साथ चिपक न जाएं। | 30 The one who mourns should not be completely overwhelmed by his sorrow so that he forgets about God. The one who rejoices should not be completely overwhelmed by his joy. And the things you buy should not become the purpose of your life. |
| 31 आप इस दुनियाँ की चीजों का इस्तेमाल करते हैं। लेकिन आपको किसी भी चीज से चिपकना नहीं चाहिए क्योंकि यह दुनियाँ जल्दी ही गायब हो जाएगी। | 31 Although you use the things of this world, you must not get attached to them, because everything in this world is temporary. |
| 32 मैं चाहता हूँ कि आप हर रोज़ की चिन्ताओं से आज़ाद रहें। अविवाहित आदमी प्रभु की योजनाओं को पूरा करना चाहता है। | 32 I want you to be free from the worries of this life. An unmarried man wants to dedicate his life to the Lord and to fulfill His plans. |
| 33 और शादीशुदा आदमी के पास हर रोज़ की बहुत ज़िम्मेदारियाँ होती हैं। उसे अपनी पत्नी की योजनाओं पर ध्यान देना चाहिए। और उसी समय उसे परमेश्वर की योजनाओं को पूरा करने के लिए हर संभव प्रयास करना होगा। | 33 But a married man has many daily responsibilities. He should pay attention to his wife's interests. At the same time, he should strive to fulfill God's plans. |
| 34 कुँवारी लड़की या ऐसी औरत जो अपने पति को खो चुकी है सिर्फ़ प्रभु की योजनाओं को पूरा करना चाहती है। इसलिए वह अपने शरीर और अपनी आत्मा को पवित्र करती है। लेकिन शादीशुदा औरत के पास हर रोज़ की बहुत ज़िम्मेदारियाँ होती हैं। और उसे अपने पति की योजनाओं पर ध्यान देना चाहिए। | 34 An unmarried girl or a woman who is left without a husband can dedicate herself completely to the Lord. So, she strives to live in such a way that every action and every thought serve God alone. But a married woman has many daily responsibilities, and she should pay attention to her husband's interests. |
| 35 मैं आप को सीमित करने की कोशिश नहीं कर रहा हूँ। लेकिन मैं यह आपके लाभ के लिए कहता हूँ ताकि कोई भी बात आपको आपकी सेवा से विचलित न करें। और तब आप बेहतर तरीके से और अधिक समर्पण के साथ प्रभु की सेवा करेंगे। | 35 I do not restrict you. Instead, I say this for your benefit, so that nothing may distract you from serving the Lord. Then you will be able to serve Him with greater devotion. |
| 36 शायद आप में से कुछ ने अपनी मंगेतर से शादी करने का वादा किया था। और हम जिन परीक्षाओं से गुज़र रहे हैं उनकी वजह से आपने शादी में देरी की। लेकिन अब आप सोचते हैं कि अगर आपकी मंगेतर बूढ़ी हो जाए और उसकी शादी न हो तो यह अच्छा नहीं। इस मामले में, अगर आप अब शादी करें तो कुछ भी गलत नहीं होगा। | 36 Perhaps one of you has promised to marry his bride. However, because of the difficult times we are now experiencing, you have postponed your wedding. But now you think that it would be wrong if your bride grew older and remained unmarried. In that case, there is nothing wrong with you getting married now. |
| 37 लेकिन शायद आप में से कुछ ने अपने दिल में दृढ़ता से फ़ैसला किया कि वह शादी न करे। ऐसे व्यक्ति को लगता है कि उसे शादी करने की ज़रूरत नहीं क्योंकि वह खुद पर नियंत्रण कर सकता है। इस मामले में, यह सही बात है क्योंकि अब परिवार शुरू करने का सबसे अच्छा समय नहीं। | 37 But perhaps one of you has firmly decided in his heart not to marry. Such a person feels that he has no need to marry, because he is able to control his desires. In this case, he does what is right, because now it is not the best time to start a family. |
| 38 इसलिए जो शादी करता है वह सही करता है। और जो शादी नहीं करता वह और भी अच्छा करता है। | 38 So, he who marries does well. But he who does not marry does even better. |
| 39 जब औरत शादी करती है तब परमेश्वर का कानून उसे उसके पति के साथ शादी के बंधन में बांधता है। लेकिन अगर उसका पति मर जाए तो उसे अधिकार है कि वह किसी भी आदमी से शादी कर सकती है जिसे वह पसन्द करती है। लेकिन वह आदमी प्रभु पर विश्वास करने वाला होना चाहिए। | 39 A wife is bound to her husband by the ties of marriage, as long as her husband is alive. But if he dies, she is free to marry any man she wishes. But only if he also believes in the Lord. |

| 2 शायद आप में से कुछ लोग ज्ञान को पहले स्थान पर रखते हैं। लेकिन कोई भी इतना ज्ञान नहीं पा सकता कि वह सब कुछ पूरी तरह से समझ सके। | 2 Perhaps some of you put knowledge first. But no one can know everything perfectly. |
| 3 लेकिन अगर कोई व्यक्ति परमेश्वर के लिए प्यार को पहले स्थान पर रखता है तो वह परमेश्वर को आनन्द देता है। और ऐसे व्यक्ति को परमेश्वर अपना ज्ञान देता है कि सही काम कैसे करें। | 3 However, if a person puts love for God first, then God gives such a person the ability to understand how to act rightly. |
| 4 इसलिए उस भोजन के बारे में बात करें जो अन्यजाति लोग मूर्तियों को चढ़ाते हैं। इस दुनियाँ के लोग मूर्तियों की पूजा करते हैं। लेकिन हम जानते हैं कि मूर्ति परमेश्वर नहीं। हम यह भी जानते हैं कि सिर्फ़ एक ही परमेश्वर है और उसके अलावा कोई दूसरा परमेश्वर नहीं। | 4 So, let’s return to the topic about the food that people of different nations offer as sacrifices to idols. The people of this world worship idols, but we know that an idol is not God. We also know that there is only one God, and besides Him, there is no other God. |
| 5 लेकिन अन्यजाति लोग विश्वास करते हैं कि अलग-अलग देवता स्वर्ग और पृथ्वी पर राज करते हैं। इसलिए वे कई देवताओं की पूजा करते हैं और अपने ऊपर उनका अधिकार स्वीकार करते हैं। | 5 But people of other nations believe that a multitude of gods govern the heavens and the earth. So, they worship these many gods and recognize their authority over themselves. |

There are those among you who still believe in idols. Such people have weak faith in God. And their conscience cannot yet distinguish between what is right and what is wrong. That is why they think that they can eat food that has been offered to idols, and it defiles their conscience. |

But such believers must consider where this might lead. They might push into sin those whose faith is still weak. |

But suppose you are sitting in an idol's temple and eating food that has been offered to idols as a sacrifice. At that moment, another believer—whose faith is weaker than yours—sees you there. Think about what example you are setting for him. Because of you, he might begin to eat food offered to idols and worship them. |

But if your brother in Christ has weak faith, then you are destroying your brother, for whom Christ died. |

Their consciences cannot yet distinguish between what is right and what is wrong. You are destroying their faith, and in this way, you are sinning against Christ. |

| 9 परमेश्वर ने मूसा के द्वारा कहा, “जब बैल खेत में काम करेगा तब वह फसल भी खाएगा। लेकिन आपको उसका मुँह बन्द नहीं करना चाहिए।” मुझे बताइए, क्या परमेश्वर सिर्फ़ बैलों की परवाह करता है? | 9 God said through Moses, “When an ox is working and threshing grain, do not cover its mouth, so that it can eat the grain.” Tell me, does God care only about oxen? |

Even though we have every right to such support, we do not use this right. Although we face financial difficulties, we continue to spread the Good News about Christ. |

This is my duty, which I must fulfill. And woe to me if I stop preaching this Good News about Christ. |
| 17 मान लीजिए कि मैंने प्रचारक बनने का फ़ैसला किया ताकि इस तरह से मैं अपनी जीविका कमा सकूँ। इस मामले में, मैं अपने काम के लिए तनख्वाह का इंतेज़ार कर सकता हूँ। लेकिन मेरा ऐसा विचार नहीं था। मैं प्रचार करता हूँ क्योंकि परमेश्वर ने मुझे अपनी सेवा सौंपी है और मुझे इसे पूरा करना है। | 17 Suppose I decided to become a preacher to earn my living. In that case, I would expect payment for my work. But that was not my idea. I preach because God entrusted me with this ministry, which I must fulfill. |

But I do not use this right. I serve you without expecting any financial support from you. And God Himself will give me a reward for that. |

They live according to the Law of Moses, so I use that Law when I tell them about Christ, so that they may come to Christ. |

So when I preach to them, I do not use that Law. But I obey Christ and do not break God’s Law. I do it to bring other nations to God. |

So run toward your goal like an athlete who wants to win. |
| 25 सभी प्रतियोगी हर चीज में खुद को तैयार और अनुशासित करते हैं। वे ऐसा मुकुट पाने के लिए सब कुछ करते हैं जो हमेशा नहीं रहेगा। लेकिन हम अपने आप को अनुशासित करते हैं ताकि वह अविनाशी इनाम पा सकें जिसे परमेश्वर हमें देगा। | 25 All the participants in the competition train hard and discipline themselves. They do it to receive a temporary reward. But we discipline ourselves to receive an eternal reward. |
| 26 मैं ऐसे खिलाड़ी की तरह काम करता हूँ जिसका एक लक्ष्य है। मैं अन्तिम रेखा तक पहुँचना चाहता हूँ। मैं ऐसे मुक्केबाज़ की तरह काम करता हूँ जो हर मुक्के के बारे में सोचता है। मैं हवा को नहीं पीटता। | 26 I run like an athlete who has a goal. I act like a boxer who calculates every punch and does not hit the air. |

Otherwise, it may happen that I preach to others, but I myself will not reach the finish line and will not receive a reward. |

When the Egyptians chased the Israelites, the Lord stood in a cloud between the Israelites and the Egyptians to protect His people. Then the Red Sea was divided, and all the Israelites walked on dry ground to the other side of the sea, but the Egyptians drowned. |
| 2 परमेश्वर के लोग मूसा के पीछे चले। और उन सभी को बादल और समुद्र में मूसा के नाम से बपतिस्मा मिला। | 2 All God’s people followed Moses as their leader, and all were baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea. |

This was water that God gave them from the rock. That rock symbolized Christ, who accompanied the people of Israel in the wilderness. |

While Moses was on Mount Sinai, the people made a golden calf and offered sacrifices to it. Scripture says, “The people sat down to eat and drink. Then they got up and began to dance wildly around the idol” (Exodus 32:6). |

They spoke against God and tested His patience with their sins. That is why they were bitten by snakes, and many people died. So do not test Christ’s patience as they did (Numbers 21:4–6). |

The prophets wrote down everything that happened to the people of Israel. Now this has become an example for us, so that we would not sin as they did. |

| 13 अगर आप पाप के बारे में सोचते हैं तो ऐसे विचार आपको पाप के कामों की ओर ले जायेंगे। और ऐसी चीजों का सामना हर किसी को करना पड़ता है। लेकिन आपको जानना चाहिए कि परमेश्वर अपने वचन के प्रति वफ़ादार है और वह आपको कभी असफल नहीं करेगा। वह आपको शक्ति देगा ताकि आप अपनी पाप भरी इच्छा के पीछे न चलें। परमेश्वर आपको धीरज से भर देगा और आपके पापी विचारों पर विजय पाने में आपकी मदद करेगा। | 13 But if you feel a desire to sin or to do something wrong, remember that every person experiences this kind of inner struggle. In such moments, trust God, because He is faithful, and He will not let temptation overcome you. Instead, God will give you the strength not to give in to sinful desires, and He will help you stand firm. |
| 14 हे मेरे प्यारे भाइयों, मूर्तियों की पूजा न करें। उनसे दूर रहें। | 14 My dear brothers, do not worship idols. Avoid everything that is connected to idolatry. |
| 15 आप बुद्धिमान लोग हैं। और आप समझ सकते हैं कि मैं आपसे क्या कह रहा हूँ। | 15 You are intelligent people. So you can understand what I mean. |
| 16 जब हम प्रभु भोज लेते हैं तब हम मसीह की मौत को याद करते हैं। हम परमेश्वर को धन्यवाद देते हैं और इस आशीषित प्याले से पीते हैं। इस तरह से, मसीह हमें अपने खून से एकजुट करता है। हम इस रोटी को भी तोड़ते हैं और खाते हैं। इस तरह से, मसीह हमें अपने शरीर में एकजुट करता है। | 16 When we thank God during communion and drink from the cup, this shows that we are united with Christ through His Blood. And when we break the bread and eat it, this shows that we are united with Christ through His Body. |

So because of you, he may begin to eat food offered to idols and worship idols. |

| 32 इसलिए आपको इस तरह से व्यवहार करना चाहिए कि आप न तो यहूदी लोगों को, न अन्यजाति लोगों को और न ही चर्च को, जो परमेश्वर का है पाप के लिए उकसाएं। | 32 So behave in such a way that your actions do not lead anyone into sin: neither Jews, nor people from other nations, nor the Church that belongs to God. |

| 3 मैं चाहता हूँ कि आप यह भी जानें कि मसीह हर एक आदमी का सिर है। पति अपनी पत्नी का सिर है। और परमेश्वर मसीह का सिर है। | 3 I also want you to know that Christ is the head of every man, the husband is the head of his wife, and God is the head of Christ. |
| 4 अगर कोई आदमी औरत की तरह अपना सिर ढके हुए प्रार्थना या भविष्यवाणी करता है तो वह अपना और प्रभु का अपमान करता है। | 4 If a man prays or prophesies with his head covered like a woman does, he dishonors himself and the Lord. |
| 5 और अगर कोई औरत आदमी की तरह अपना सिर गंजा करके प्रार्थना या भविष्यवाणी करती है तो वह अपना और अपने पति का अपमान करती है। | 5 And if a woman prays or prophesies with her head uncovered, which is considered improper in society, she dishonors herself and her husband. This is as shameful as if a woman shaved her head like a man. |
| 6 आपके बीच में कुछ औरतें हैं जो अपना सिर ढकना नहीं चाहती। लेकिन वे छोटे बालों के कारण आदमियों की तरह दिखाई देती हैं। औरत को अपना सिर गंजा नहीं करवाना चाहिए और न ही किसी आदमी की तरह अपने बाल कटवाने चाहिए। उसे इस बात पर शर्म आनी चाहिए और उसे अपना सिर ढकना चाहिए। | 6 But if a woman still does not want to cover her head, she goes against the rules of society. Then let her go all the way and cut her hair like a man. But if she is ashamed to cut her hair like that or to shave her head, then let her cover her head. |
| 7 आदमी को अपना सिर नहीं ढकना चाहिए और औरत की तरह दिखाई देना नहीं चाहिए। परमेश्वर ने आदमी को अपने रूप में बनाया ताकि आदमी परमेश्वर की महिमा करे। और पत्नी को अपने पति की प्रतिष्ठा का ध्यान रखना चाहिए और उसका अपमान नहीं करना चाहिए। | 7 So a man should not cover his head and look like a woman. God created man in His own image so that he would glorify God. And a wife should care about her husband’s reputation and not behave in a way that is considered improper in society. |

| 9 परमेश्वर ने आदमी को औरत के लिए नहीं बनाया। लेकिन उसने औरत को आदमी के लिए बनाया। | 9 God did not create man for woman. Instead, He created woman for man. |
| 10 इसलिए स्वर्गदूतों को दिखाई देना चाहिए कि औरत अपने ऊपर अपने पति के अधिकार को पहचानती है। और अगर औरत अपने छोटे बालों के कारण आदमी की तरह दिखाई देती है तो उसे औरत की तरह दिखाई देने के लिए अपना सिर ढकना चाहिए। | 10 So a woman should cover her head to show that she recognizes her husband’s authority. | 14 अगर कोई आदमी अपने बालों को बढ़ाता है और औरत की तरह बनता है तो वह अपने स्वभाव के खिलाफ़ काम करता है और प्रकृति के खिलाफ़ व्यवहार करता है। और इस तरह से वह अपना अपमान करता है। | 14 If a man grows long hair and looks like a woman, he goes against his masculine nature and behaves unnaturally. In this way, he dishonors himself. |
| 15 लेकिन जब कोई औरत अपने बालों को बढ़ाती है तब वह अपने औरत होने को महत्त्व देती है। और उसके लम्बे बाल प्राकृतिक रूप से उसे घूंघट की तरह ढकते हैं। | 15 But when a woman grows her hair, she emphasizes her femininity. Her long hair becomes her covering. |
| 16 और अगर कोई व्यक्ति इस के बारे में बहस करना चाहता है तो मैं उससे कहूँगा, “आदमियों और औरतों को एक दूसरे से अलग दिखना ही चाहिए। और हमें इस नियम का पालन करना है। ऐसी आज्ञा परमेश्वर के सभी चर्चों में होनी चाहिए।” | 16 If anyone wants to argue about this, then I will say that men and women must look different. We all must follow this, and such order must be in all the churches that belong to God. |
| 17 मैं कुछ दूसरी बातों के लिए भी आपकी प्रशंसा नहीं कर सकता जो आपके बीच में होती हैं। जब आप इकट्ठे होते हैं तब यह आपको अच्छाई से ज़्यादा नुकसान पहुँचाता है। | 17 There are also other things happening among you for which I cannot praise you. When you come together, it brings you more harm than good. |
| 18 मैंने सुना कि आपकी सभाओं के समय क्या होता है। सबसे पहली बात, जब आप चर्च आते हैं तब आपके बीच में कुछ फूट होती हैं। और कुछ हद तक, मैं मानता हूँ कि ऐसा हो सकता है। | 18 First of all, I have been told about what happens during your meetings. When you meet as a church, disagreements arise among you. And I understand that this can happen. |
| 19 आपके अलग-अलग नज़रिये हो सकते हैं ताकि आप देख सकें कि आप में से किस के विचार सही हैं जिन्हें परमेश्वर मंजूरी देता है। | 19 Some disagreements cannot be avoided, because in this way it becomes clear who among you truly follow what God approves. |
| 20 दूसरी बात, जब आप इकट्ठे होते हैं तब आप प्रभु भोज लेते हैं। लेकिन आप इसे इस तरह से लेते हैं जैसे इसका सच्चे प्रभु भोज से कोई लेना-देना ही नहीं। | 20 Second, when you come together for communion, you do it in such a way that it has nothing to do with true communion. |
| 21 आप एक दूसरे के साथ नहीं बाँटते। आप अपने साथ लाया हुआ खाना खाने के लिए लालच करते हैं। इसलिए आप में से कुछ लोग भूखे रह जाते हैं और दूसरे लोग नशे में चूर हो जाते हैं। | 21 Everyone is in a hurry to eat what he has brought with him. So some people remain hungry, and others become drunk. |
| 22 आपको घर पर खाना और पीना चाहिए। परमेश्वर के चर्च को अपमान न करें और गरीबों को न दबाएं। मैं आपको क्या बताऊँ? क्या आप सोचते हैं कि मैं इसके लिए आपकी प्रशंसा करूँगा? बिल्कुल नहीं। | 22 Don’t you have your own homes where you can eat and drink? Do not dishonor the church of God and do not humiliate those who have no food. What should I say to you? Do you think that I will praise you for this? Of course not. |
| 23 जो प्रभु ने मुझे सिखाया वह मैंने आप को बता दिया। जब यहूदा ने प्रभु यीशु को धोखा दिया, उस रात को प्रभु ने रोटी ली। | 23 The Lord Himself showed me how to take communion. And I passed on to you what He taught me. On the night when Judas betrayed the Lord Jesus, the Lord took bread. |
| 24 उसने परमेश्वर को धन्यवाद दिया, उस रोटी के टुकड़े किये और अपने चेलों से कहा, “इस रोटी को लें और खाएं। यह रोटी मेरा शरीर है जो आपके लिए दु:ख उठाएगा। जब आप इस रोटी को तोड़ते हैं और इसे खाते हैं तब आपको मुझे याद करना चाहिए।” | 24 He thanked God, broke the bread, and said to His disciples, “Take it and eat. This bread is My Body, which I give for you. Do this in memory of Me.” |
| 25 रात के खाने के बाद प्रभु ने प्याला लिया और कहा, “यह प्याला परमेश्वर और लोगों के बीच में नए समझौते को स्थापित करता है जिस पर मैं अपने खून से मुहर लगाऊँगा। जब आप इस प्याले में से पीएंगे तब हमेशा मुझे याद करना।” | 25 After supper, the Lord also took the cup and said, “This cup is the sign of the New Covenant, which God makes with you through My Blood. Every time you drink from this cup, remember Me.” |
| 26 जब आप इस रोटी को खाएंगे और इस प्याले में से पीएंगे तब हर बार आप प्रभु की मौत की घोषणा करेंगे। तब तक ऐसा करते रहें जब तक प्रभु इस धरती पर दोबारा न आए। | 26 When you eat this bread and drink from this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until He comes again. |
| 27 आप में से कुछ इस रोटी को खाते और प्रभु के प्याले में से पीते हैं लेकिन आप इसे गंभीरता से नहीं लेते। ऐसे लोग प्रभु के शरीर और उस के खून के खिलाफ़ पाप के दोषी होंगे। | 27 Some of you eat this bread and drink from the cup of the Lord, but do not take it seriously. Such people show disrespect for the sacrifice of Christ and sin against His Body and Blood. |
| 28 इस रोटी को खाने और इस प्याले में से पीने से पहले व्यक्ति को अपने दिल को जाँचना चाहिए। | 28 So each person should first examine himself before God, and only then he may eat this bread and drink from this cup. |
| 29 अगर आप खाते और पीते हैं लेकिन इसे गंभीरता से नहीं लेते तो परमेश्वर इसके लिए आपका न्याय करेगा। आपको समझना चाहिए कि मसीह के शरीर का क्या मतलब है। | 29 If you eat and drink, but you do not understand that this is the Body and Blood of the Lord, then you make yourselves guilty before God and bring God’s judgment on yourselves. |
| 30 आप गलत तरीके से प्रभु भोज लेते हैं। इसलिए आपके चर्च में कुछ लोग कमज़ोर और बीमार हैं और कुछ लोग मर रहे हैं। | 30 That is why many among you are weak and sick, and many have already died. |
| 31 हमें अपने कामों के बारे में सोचना चाहिए और खुद को सही करना चाहिए। और तब परमेश्वर हमारा न्याय नहीं करेगा। | 31 If we examined and corrected ourselves, God would not judge and discipline us. |

He does this to correct us so that we will not perish together with those who do not believe in Him. |
| 33 हे मेरे भाइयों, जब आप प्रभु भोज के लिए इकट्ठा होते हैं तब एक दूसरे का इंतजार करें और एक साथ प्रभु भोज लें। | 33 My brothers, when you come together to take communion, do not rush to eat and drink. Instead, wait for one another and take communion together. |
| 34 और अगर आप जानते हैं कि आपको भूख लगेगी तो आने से पहले घर पर खाना खाकर आएं। तब प्रभु भोज के समय परमेश्वर आपके गलत व्यवहार के लिए आपका न्याय नहीं करेगा। जब मैं आपके पास आऊँगा तब मैं आपके साथ कुछ और बातों के बारे में भी बात करूँगा। | 34 If someone knows that he will become hungry, let him eat at home before coming. Then God will not judge you for your wrong behavior during communion. When I come to you, I will also speak with you about other matters. |

| 1 हे भाइयों, मैं चाहता हूँ कि आप आत्मिक उपहारों के बारे में जानें। | 1 Brothers, I want you to know how spiritual gifts work. |
| 2 आपको याद है कि आप अन्यजाति लोग थे। और उस समय गूंगी मूर्तियों ने आपको गुमराह किया। आपने उनकी पूजा ऐसे की जैसे कोई आप से ऐसा करने के लिए कह रहा हो। | 2 You know that you used to live without God. At that time you worshiped mute idols and were under their false spiritual influence. But then you turned to Jesus, and now God’s Spirit lives in you. |
| 3 और आपको यह जानना चाहिए। जो व्यक्ति परमेश्वर की आत्मा में होकर बोलता है वह यीशु को श्राप नहीं दे सकता। और जब कोई व्यक्ति यीशु को प्रभु की तरह स्वीकार करता है तब यह सिर्फ़ पवित्र आत्मा के कारण ही होता है। | 3 So I tell you — if God’s Spirit fills a person, he will never be able to curse Jesus. And when someone confesses Jesus as Lord, it happens only through the Holy Spirit. |
| 4 विश्वासियों के पास अलग-अलग उपहार होते हैं। लेकिन यह एक ही आत्मा है जो उन्हें ये सारे उपहार देती है। | 4 Believers have different kinds of gifts. But it is the same Spirit who gives all these gifts. |
| 5 हम अलग-अलग सेवाओं में भाग लेते हैं लेकिन हम एक ही प्रभु की सेवा करते हैं। | 5 We take part in different kinds of ministries, but we serve the same Lord. |
| 6 प्रभु अलग-अलग तरीके से काम करता है। लेकिन यह एक ही परमेश्वर है जो अपना काम हम सभी के अन्दर करता है। | 6 The same God works in all of us, but He works in different ways. |
| 7 आत्मा हम में से हर एक में अपनी उपस्थिति को प्रकट करती है और यह हम सभी को लाभ पहुँचाती है। | 7 God’s Spirit shows His presence in the life of each of us, and it benefits everyone. |
| 8 आत्मा एक विश्वासी को बुद्धि की बातें देती है। यही आत्मा दूसरे विश्वासी को ज्ञान की बातें देती है। | 8 To one believer the Spirit gives a word of wisdom. To another person the same Spirit gives a word of knowledge. |
| 9 किसी को विश्वास मिलता है जो उसी आत्मा से आता है। और किसी दूसरे व्यक्ति को यही आत्मा चंगाई का उपहार देती है। | 9 Someone receives faith from the same Spirit. To someone else the same Spirit gives gifts of healing. |
| 10 किसी और को चमत्कार करने की क्षमता मिलती है। एक विश्वासी को आत्मा भविष्यवाणी का उपहार देती है। और दूसरे को वह आत्माओं को पहचानने का उपहार देती है। और किसी और को अलग-अलग भाषाओं में प्रार्थना करने की अलौकिक क्षमता मिलती है। और दूसरे विश्वासी को अनजानी भाषा में प्रार्थना का अनुवाद करने का उपहार मिलता है। | 10 Someone else receives the ability to perform miracles. To one believer the Spirit gives the gift of prophecy, and to another person — the gift of discernment of spirits. And someone else receives the supernatural ability to pray in different unknown tongues. And another believer receives the gift of interpreting these tongues. |
| 11 यह वही आत्मा है जो इन सभी आत्मिक उपहारों के द्वारा काम करती है। और यह वही आत्मा है जो फ़ैसला करती है कि हर एक विश्वासी को उपहार कैसे बाँटने है। | 11 It is the same Spirit who works through all these spiritual gifts. And it is the same Spirit who decides which gift each believer receives. |
| 12 मानव शरीर के कई अंग होते हैं और वे सभी मिलकर एक शरीर को बनाते हैं। मैं चर्च के बारे में भी यही कह सकता हूँ। चर्च मसीह का एक शरीर है जिसमें कई अलग-अलग अंग हैं। और मसीह के शरीर के सभी अंगों को एक साथ मिलकर एक दूसरे के साथ काम करना है। | 12 The human body has many parts, and all of them form a single organism. The same applies to the Church among believers. The Church is one Body of Christ, which consists of many different parts. And all the parts of the Body of Christ must work together in unity. |

| 18 शरीर के कई अंग होते हैं। और परमेश्वर ने शरीर के हर एक अंग को एक खास स्थान पर रखने की योजना बनाई। | 18 But God has arranged each part of the body just as He wanted. |
| 19 मान लीजिए कि शरीर के सभी अंग एक जैसे बन जाएं। ऐसा शरीर कैसे काम कर सकता है? | 19 The body cannot consist of only one part. |
| 20 शरीर के कई अलग-अलग अंग होते हैं और सभी एक शरीर को बनाते हैं। | 20 Instead, there are many parts in the human body, and all of them form a single organism. |
| 21 आँख नहीं कह सकती, “हे हाथ, मुझे तुम्हारी ज़रूरत नहीं।" और सिर भी यह नहीं कह सकता, “हे पैर, मुझे तुम्हारी ज़रूरत नहीं।” | 21 So the eye cannot say, “Hand, I do not need you.” And the head cannot say, “Feet, I do not need you.” |
| 22 और हम सोच सकते हैं कि जो अंग हमारे जीवन का आधार हैं वे हमारे शरीर के दूसरे अंगों की तरह महत्वपूर्ण नहीं। | 22 Sometimes certain parts of the body may seem less important than others, but they are vitally necessary for the functioning of the whole organism. |
| 23 और अगर हम अपने शरीर में कोई कमीं देखते हैं तो हम अपने शरीर के इस अंग की ज़्यादा देखभाल करते हैं। | 23 If we notice that a certain part of the body is weaker or more sensitive than others, then we take special care of it. |
| 24 और हमारे शरीर के दूसरे अंगों को किसी खास देखभाल की ज़रूरत नहीं होती। हम अपनी कमियों को और अपने शरीर के उन अंगों को कपड़ों के नीचे छिपाते हैं जिन्हें किसी को भी नहीं देखना चाहिए। परमेश्वर ने शरीर को इस तरह से बनाया है कि हम अपने शरीर के उन अंगों का खास ध्यान रखते हैं जिनको सच में देखभाल की ज़रूरत है। | 24 But the other parts of the body do not require any special care. We cover with clothing our imperfections and those parts of our body that no one should see. God has arranged the body in such a way that we take special care of those parts of the body that need it. |
| 25 हमारे शरीर के अंग एक दूसरे के साथ लड़ाई नहीं कर सकते। इसके बजाय, शरीर के सभी अंग एक दूसरे के लिए बराबर चिन्ता करते हैं। | 25 The parts of the body cannot be in conflict with one another. Instead, they cannot be separated. They are interconnected, and depend on one another. |
| 26 इसलिए अगर हमारे शरीर के किसी अंग को दु:ख होता है तो शरीर के दूसरे अंगों को भी दु:ख होगा। और अगर हम अपने शरीर के किसी हिस्से पर ज़्यादा ध्यान देते हैं तो यह पूरे शरीर को लाभ पहुँचाता है। | 26 So if one part of the body suffers, the other parts also feel pain. And if we pay more attention to one part of the body, it benefits the whole body. |
| 27 आप सब मिलकर मसीह का शरीर हैं। और आप में से हर एक उसके शरीर का एक अलग अंग हैं। | 27 All together you form the Body of Christ. And each of you is an individual part in His Body. |

To others God gave gifts of healing. And to someone else He gave the ability to help others. There are also those to whom God gave the ability to lead. And to others He gave the supernatural ability to pray in different unknown tongues. |

But there is something without which everything else has no value. |

| 1 अगर मैं लोगों और स्वर्गदूतों की अलग-अलग भाषाओं में प्रार्थना करता हूँ लेकिन मैं यह बिना प्यार के करता हूँ तो मैं परेशान करने वाली घंटी या शोर मचाने वाली थाली की तरह हूँ। | 1 If I speak in the tongues of different nations and even in the tongues of angels, but I do not have love, then my words are like a loud but empty ringing of a bell or like a noisy cymbal. |

The one who loves always hopes for the best and does not give up despite difficulties. |
| 8 वह समय आएगा जब लोग भविष्यवाणी करना, अनजानी भाषा में प्रार्थना करना बन्द कर देंगे और उन्हें किसी ज्ञान की ज़रूरत नहीं होगी। लेकिन हम प्यार करना कभी नहीं छोड़ेंगे। | 8 Love will never cease to exist. But the time will come when people will no longer prophesy, will not pray in tongues, and will not need knowledge. |
| 9 अभी हमारे पास पूरा ज्ञान नहीं। और जब हम भविष्यवाणी करते हैं तब हम सारी बातें नहीं देखते। | 9 Now we do not have full knowledge. So, when we prophesy, we see only part of God’s plan. |

| 11 बचपन में मैं बच्चे की तरह बात करता, सोचता और समझता था। लेकिन जब मैं आदमी बन गया तब मैंने बच्चे की तरह काम करना बन्द कर दिया। | 11 When I was a child, I spoke, thought, and reasoned like a child. But now I have grown up and have stopped behaving like a child. |

When a person prays in the Spirit, he speaks mysteries that no one can understand. |

| 5 मैं चाहता हूँ कि आप सभी अनजानी भाषाओं में प्रार्थना करें। लेकिन मैं और ज़्यादा चाहता हूँ कि आप भविष्यवाणी करें। भविष्यवाणी करने वाला अनजानी भाषा में प्रार्थना करने वाले से ज़्यादा चर्च को लाभ पहुँचाता है। लेकिन अनजानी भाषा में प्रार्थना चर्च को मजबूत भी बना सकती है। इस उद्देश्य के लिए जो भाषाओं में प्रार्थना करता है उसे चर्च में खुद अपनी प्रार्थना का अनुवाद करना चाहिए। | 5 I want all of you to pray in unknown tongues. But even more I want you to prophesy. The one who prophesies benefits the church more than the one who prays in tongues. But prayer in unknown tongues can also strengthen the church. For this to happen, the one who prays in tongues must interpret his own prayer for the whole church. |
| 6 हे भाइयों, अगर मैं आप के पास आऊँ और अनजानी भाषाओं में प्रार्थना करना शुरू करूँ तो इससे आप को कोई लाभ नहीं होगा। लेकिन अगर मैं आपके साथ कुछ प्रकाशन, ज्ञान, भविष्यवाणी या प्रचार बाटूँ तो यह आपके लिए उपयोगी होगा। | 6 Brothers, if I come to you and start praying only in unknown tongues, this will not benefit you at all. But if I share with you some revelation, knowledge, prophecy, or preaching, this will be useful to you. |
| 7 बांसुरी और वीणा को देखें जो बेजान वस्तुएं हैं। अगर वे धुन से बाहर बजेंगी तो कोई भी राग को नहीं पहचान पाएगा। | 7 Look at lifeless objects, such as a flute and a harp. If they are played out of tune, no one will be able to understand the melody. |

| 9 यही बात आप पर लागू होती है। जब आप अनजानी भाषाओं में प्रार्थना करते हैं तब कोई भी समझ नहीं सकता जो आप कहते हैं। आप हवा से बातें करने वाले ठहरते हैं। | 9 The same is true for you. When you pray in unknown tongues, no one can understand you. You speak into the air and waste your words. |
| 10 दुनियाँ में अलग-अलग भाषाओं में बहुत से शब्द हैं और हर शब्द का अपना मतलब है। | 10 There are many languages in the world, but each of us understands only his own language. |
| 11 लेकिन अगर मैं दूसरे व्यक्ति की भाषा नहीं समझता और वह मेरी भाषा नहीं समझता तो हम एक दूसरे के लिए विदेशी हैं। | 11 So, if I do not understand the language of another person, and he does not understand me, then we are foreigners to each other. |
| 12 आपकी बड़ी इच्छा है कि आत्मिक उपहार आप के द्वारा काम करें। लेकिन आपको ऐसे उपहारों की बहुतायत के लिए हर संभव प्रयास करना चाहिए जो आपके चर्च को मजबूत बनाएंगे। | 12 You eagerly desire spiritual gifts to work through you. So make every effort to develop especially those gifts that strengthen the church. |
| 13 इसलिए अगर कोई अनजानी भाषा में बात करता है तो उसे भाषा का अनुवाद करने का उपहार प्राप्त करने के लिए प्रार्थना करनी चाहिए। | 13 That is why the one who speaks in an unknown tongue should pray to receive the gift of interpreting tongues. |
| 14 जब मैं अनजानी भाषा में बोलता हूँ तब सिर्फ़ मेरी आत्मा प्रार्थना करती है। लेकिन जो मैं कह रहा हूँ उसे मेरा दिमाग नहीं समझता। | 14 When I speak in an unknown tongue, only my spirit prays. But my mind does not understand what I am saying. |
| 15 इसलिए मुझे प्रार्थना कैसे करनी चाहिए? मैं आत्मा में अनजानी भाषा में प्रार्थना करूँगा। और मैं अपने दिमाग से भी प्रार्थना करूँगा और उन शब्दों को बोलूँगा जिन्हें मैं समझता हूँ। मैं आत्मा में अनजानी भाषा में गाऊँगा। और मैं अपने दिमाग से भी ऐसी भाषा में गाऊँगा जिसे मैं समझता हूँ। | 15 How then should I pray? I will pray in the Spirit in an unknown tongue. But I will also pray with my mind and speak words that I understand. I will sing in the Spirit in an unknown tongue. But I will also sing with my mind in a tongue that I understand. |

But imagine that there is a person next to you who does not understand what spiritual gifts are. Then he will not be able to understand your prayer and say “amen.” |

| 18 मैं अपने परमेश्वर का धन्यवाद करता हूँ क्योंकि मैं आप सभी से ज़्यादा अनजानी भाषाओं में प्रार्थना करता हूँ। | 18 I thank God that I pray in unknown tongues more than all of you. |
| 19 लेकिन जब मैं चर्च आता हूँ तब मैं चाहता हूँ कि दूसरे लोग कुछ सीखें। इसलिए मैं चर्च में अनजानी भाषा में बहुत सारे शब्द बोलने से अच्छा समझ में आने वाले पाँच शब्द कहूँगा। | 19 But when I come to church, I want other people to learn something. That is why I would rather say five clear words in the church than many words in an unknown tongue. |

At that time unbelievers or those who do not understand what spiritual gifts are come in. Wouldn’t they say that you have lost your mind? |
| 24 लेकिन मान लीजिए कि चर्च में हर एक भविष्यवाणी करता है। और इस समय कुछ अविश्वासी या ऐसे लोग आपके पास आएं जो आत्मिक उपहारों के बारे में कुछ नहीं जानते। भविष्यवाणी के कारण वे महसूस करेंगे कि वे पापी हैं। और वे अपने जीने के तरीके के बारे में सोचेंगे। | 24 Now imagine that in church all people prophesy. At that time unbelievers or those who know nothing about spiritual gifts come in. Through the prophecy they will feel that they are sinners, and they will think about the way they live. |

| 34 जब औरतें चर्च में आती हैं तब उन्हें सुनना चाहिए और बात नहीं करनी चाहिए। चर्च की सभा के समय उन्हें अनुशासन नहीं तोड़ना चाहिए। मूसा का कानून भी इसके बारे में बोलता है। | 34 When women come to church, they should listen, not speak. They should not disturb the order during church meetings. The Law of Moses also speaks about this. |
| 35 अगर सभा के समय किसी औरत के पास कोई सवाल है तो उसे घर पर अपने पति से इसके बारे में पूछना चाहिए। औरत को दूसरे लोगों को टोकने और चर्च में अनुशासन तोड़ने के लिए शर्म महसूस करनी चाहिए। | 35 If a woman has a question during a meeting, she should ask her husband about it at home. A woman should be ashamed to interrupt others and disturb the order in the church. |
| 36 आप पहली नहीं थी जिसने परमेश्वर के वचन का प्रचार करना शुरू किया। और आप पहली नहीं थी जिसने परमेश्वर का वचन सुना। | 36 You were not the first ones who started preaching the Word of God. And you were not the first ones who heard this Word. |
| 37 आपके चर्च में ऐसे लोग हैं जो खुद को भविष्यवक्ता या आत्मिक लोग मानते हैं। इस मामले में, उन्हें समझना चाहिए कि मैं आपको वे आज्ञाएँ लिख रहा हूँ जो प्रभु ने हमें दिए। | 37 There are those among you who consider themselves prophets or spiritual people. Such people should understand that I am writing to you about the commands given to us by the Lord. |
| 38 और अगर कोई व्यक्ति परमेश्वर की आज्ञाओं को नहीं अपनाता तो परमेश्वर ऐसे व्यक्ति को नहीं अपनाएगा। | 38 But if someone does not understand this, let him hold to his own opinion. |
| 39 हे भाइयों, भविष्यवाणी करने का हर संभव प्रयास करें। और अनजानी भाषाओं में प्रार्थना करने से भी मना न करें। | 39 Brothers, be eager to prophesy. And also do not forbid praying in unknown tongues. |
| 40 लेकिन आपको अपनी सभाएँ सही तरीके से करनी चाहिए और गड़बड़ी नहीं फैलानी चाहिए। | 40 But you must conduct your meetings properly and avoid creating disorder. |
अध्याय 15 | Chapter 15 |
| 1 हे भाइयों, मैंने आपको मसीह के बारे में अच्छी खबर का प्रचार किया। और मैं आपको याद दिलाता हूँ कि आपने इसे अपनाया और अब आप दृढ़ता से इस पर विश्वास करते हैं। | 1 Brothers, I have already preached the Good News about Christ to you. And I want to remind you that you received this News and now firmly believe in it. |
| 2 इस खबर के कारण आपने उद्धार पाया। लेकिन जैसे मैंने आपसे कहा और प्रचार किया उस पर आपको विश्वास करना है। और अगर आप किसी और पर विश्वास करें तो ऐसा विश्वास आपको बचा नहीं पाएगा। | 2 Through this News, you have received salvation. But you must believe exactly as I taught and preached to you. If you believe in something else, then such faith cannot save you. |
| 3 सबसे पहले, मैंने आपको सबसे महत्वपूर्ण बातें सिखाईं जो मुझे परमेश्वर से मिलीं। शास्त्र कहते हैं कि मसीह हमारे पापों के लिए मर गया। | 3 First of all, I taught you the most important things that I myself received from God. The Scriptures say that Christ died for our sins. |

God did not pour out His grace upon my life in vain. I worked harder than all the other apostles. But actually I cannot take credit for this, because it was God’s grace working through me — the grace that has always been with me. |

| 13 अगर मरे हुए लोग नहीं जी उठते हैं तो मसीह भी नहीं जी उठा। | 13 If the dead do not rise, then Christ has not been raised either. |
| 14 और अगर मसीह नहीं जी उठा तो हमारे प्रचार का कोई मतलब नहीं और आपके विश्वास का भी कोई मतलब नहीं। | 14 And if Christ has not been raised, then our message is meaningless, and your faith also is meaningless. |
| 15 मान लीजिए कि परमेश्वर मरे हुए लोगों को नहीं जिलाएगा। इसका मतलब है कि परमेश्वर ने मसीह को भी नहीं जिलाया। इस मामले में, अगर हम प्रचार करते हैं कि परमेश्वर ने मसीह को जिलाया तो हम झूठे गवाह बन जाते हैं क्योंकि हम परमेश्वर के बारे में झूठ बोल रहे हैं। | 15 Suppose that God will not raise the dead. This means that He did not raise Christ either. In that case, if we preach that God raised Christ, we become false witnesses, because we are lying about God. |
| 16 अगर मरे हुए लोग नहीं जी उठते तो मसीह भी नहीं जी उठा। | 16 If the dead are not raised, then Christ has not been raised either. |
| 17 और अगर मसीह नहीं जी उठा तो आपके विश्वास का कोई मतलब नहीं। और आप अब भी अपने पापों में जीते हैं। | 17 And if Christ has not been raised, then your faith is meaningless, and you are still living in your sins. |
| 18 इस मामले में, जो लोग मसीह पर विश्वास करते थे और मर गए, वे हमेशा के लिए नष्ट हो गए। | 18 In that case, those who believed in Christ and died have perished forever. |
| 19 अगर हम सिर्फ़ इस जीवन में मसीह पर आशा रखते हैं तो हम सभी लोगों से सबसे अभागे हैं। | 19 If we have hope in Christ in this life only, we are the most pitiful among all people. |
| 20 लेकिन मसीह पहला व्यक्ति बना जो मरे हुओं में से जी उठा। हम मरेंगे लेकिन हम उसी तरह से फिर से जीवित हो जाएंगे जैसे वह हुआ। | 20 But Christ was the first to rise from the dead. This means that we also will rise, just as He did. |
| 21 मौत एक आदमी के द्वारा इस दुनियाँ में आई। उसी तरह से मरे हुओं में से जी उठना भी एक आदमी के द्वारा इस दुनियाँ में आया। | 21 Death entered this world through a man. In the same way, the resurrection of the dead came through a Man. |
| 22 जैसे आदम के कारण हर कोई मरता है वैसे ही मसीह में हर कोई जीवित रहेगा। | 22 Just as all people die because of Adam, so in Christ all people will be made alive. |
| 23 परमेश्वर सभी लोगों को विशेष क्रम में जिलाता है। मसीह पहला व्यक्ति बना जिसे परमेश्वर ने मरे हुओं में से जिलाया। और जब मसीह पृथ्वी पर आएगा तब परमेश्वर उन लोगों को जीवित करेगा जो मसीह के हैं। | 23 God raises all people in a specific order. Christ was the first whom God raised from the dead. And when Christ returns, God will also raise those who belong to Christ. |
| 24 और उसके बाद अन्त आ जाएगा। मसीह हर एक शासक, अधिकार और शक्ति को नष्ट कर देगा। और वह राज्य को पिता परमेश्वर को वापस कर देगा। | 24 After that, the end will come. Christ will destroy every ruler, authority, and power. And He will hand over the Kingdom to God the Father. |
| 25 मसीह तब तक राज करेगा जब तक वह अपने सभी दुश्मनों को हरा न दे और जब तक वे उसके पैरों के नीचे न जाएं। | 25 Christ will reign until He has defeated all His enemies and until they fall under His feet. |
| 26 मौत आखिरी दुश्मन है जिसे मसीह नाश कर देगा। | 26 Death is the last enemy that Christ will destroy. |
| 27 शास्त्र कहते हैं कि परमेश्वर ने सब कुछ मसीह के पैरों के नीचे कर दिया। लेकिन यह साफ़ है कि परमेश्वर खुद मसीह की आज्ञा का पालन नहीं करता। | 27 The Scriptures say that God has put everything under Christ’s feet. But it is clear that God Himself is not subject to Christ. |
| 28 परमेश्वर ने अपने बेटे को अधिकार दिया। और जब हर चीज़ मसीह की आज्ञा का पालन करेगी तब बेटा परमेश्वर को अपना अधिकार वापस दे देगा। उसके बाद परमेश्वर हर जगह और हर चीज़ पर राज करेगा। | 28 God gave authority to His Son. And when everything has been subjected to Christ, the Son will hand back that authority to God. Then God will reign over all and in all. |
| 29 जब विश्वासी लोग पानी का बपतिस्मा लेते हैं तब उनमें से कुछ को सताया जाता है और वे मसीह के लिए मर जाते हैं। लेकिन नए विश्वासी आते हैं और उनकी जगह ले लेते हैं। वे जानते हैं कि लोग उनके बपतिस्मे के बाद उन्हें भी मार सकते हैं। लेकिन वे विश्वास करते हैं कि वे फिर से जीवित होंगे। | 29 When believers are baptized with water, they understand that they may face persecution and even die for Christ. But new believers step forward to take their place. They are also baptized with water, because they believe that they will be raised from the dead. |
| 30 हर घंटे हम खतरे का सामना करते हैं। और हम भी विश्वास करते हैं कि अगर हम मर जाएं तो हम फिर से जीवित होंगे। | 30 Every hour we face danger. And we also believe that if we die, we will be raised from the dead. |
| 31 हे भाइयों, मैं आपको भरोसा दिलाता हूँ कि हर दिन मैं मौत के खतरे का सामना कर रहा हूँ। लेकिन मैं आनन्दित हूँ कि आप हमारे प्रभु यीशु मसीह के पास आए। | 31 Brothers, I assure you that every day I risk my life. But I rejoice that you have believed in our Lord Jesus Christ. |
| 32 जब मैं इफिसुस शहर में था तब जंगली जानवरों ने मुझ पर हमला किया और मैं उनसे लड़ रहा था। लेकिन मुझे भरोसा था कि अगर मैं मर जाऊँगा तो मैं फिर से जीवित हो जाऊँगा। अगर हम इसे इन्सान के नज़रिये से देखते हैं और विश्वास नहीं करते कि मरे हुए लोग जी उठेंगे तो हम मसीह के पीछे क्यों चलें? आइए, खाते-पीते हैं क्योंकि कल हम मर जाएंगे! | 32 When I was in Ephesus, I fought wild animals that attacked me. But I was sure that if I died, I would be raised from the dead. If we look at this from a human point of view and do not believe that the dead will rise, then why should we follow Christ? In that case, let’s eat and drink, because tomorrow we all will die! |
| 33 अपने आप को धोखा न दें, बुरे दोस्त अच्छे व्यक्ति को बिगाड़ देंगे। | 33 Do not deceive yourselves — bad company corrupts all the good within a person. |
| 34 आपको अपने जीने के तरीके के बारे में सोचना चाहिए। पाप करना बन्द करें। मैं आपको शर्म महसूस कराने के लिए ऐसा कह रहा हूँ क्योंकि आप में से कुछ लोग परमेश्वर को नहीं जानते। | 34 You should think about the way you live and stop sinning. I say this to your shame, because some of you do not know God. |
| 35 शायद कोई व्यक्ति पूछेगा, “मरे हुए लोग कैसे जी उठेंगे? और उनके शरीर कैसे दिखाई देंगे?” | 35 Perhaps someone will ask, "How will people be raised from the dead? And what will their bodies look like?” |
| 36 आप ऐसी आसान बातों को क्यों नहीं समझ सकते? जब हम कोई बीज बोते हैं तब पहले वह मरता है और फिर वह जी उठता है। | 36 Why can’t you understand such simple things? When we sow a seed, first it dies, and then it comes to life. |
| 37 हम पौधे को जमीन में नहीं लगा रहे हैं लेकिन साधारण बीज को। उदाहरण के लिए, हम गेहूं का बीज या कोई दूसरा बीज बो सकते हैं। | 37 We plant in the ground not the plant itself, but an ordinary grain. For example, we might sow a grain of wheat or some other kind of grain. |
| 38 परमेश्वर ने पहले से ठहराया कि पौधा कैसा दिखाई देगा। और अलग-अलग प्रकार के पौधे अलग-अलग बीजों से उगते हैं। | 38 God determined in advance what the plant would look like. So, different types of plants grow from different seeds. |
| 39 जीवित प्राणी भी अलग-अलग दिखाई देते हैं। मानव शरीर का रूप जानवरों, मछलियों या पक्षियों के शरीर के रूप से अलग होता है। | 39 Living creatures also look different from one another. The human body differs from the bodies of animals, fish, or birds. |
| 40 स्वर्गीय शरीर और सांसारिक शरीर भी हैं। लेकिन स्वर्गीय शरीरों की महानता सांसारिक शरीरों से अलग है। | 40 There are also heavenly and earthly bodies. But the splendor of the heavenly bodies differs from the splendor of the earthly ones. |
| 41 सूरज एक प्रकार की रोशनी से चमकता है और चाँद और तारे दूसरी रोशनी से चमकते हैं। तारे भी अपने तेज में एक दूसरे से अलग होते हैं। | 41 The sun shines with one kind of light, and the moon and stars shine with another kind of light. The stars also differ from one another in their beauty and brightness. |
| 42 अगर आप बीज को देखेंगे तो आप समझ नहीं सकेंगे कि उसका पौधा कैसा दिखाई देगा। उसी तरह से मैं मरे हुओं के फिर से जीवित होने के बारे में कह सकता हूँ। लोग नाशवान शरीर को जमीन में गाड़ देते हैं लेकिन अमर शरीर फिर से जीवित हो जाएगा। | 42 If you look at a grain, you cannot tell what the plant will look like. We can say the same thing about the resurrection of the dead. A mortal body is buried in the ground, but an immortal one will be raised to life. |
| 43 जब कोई व्यक्ति मर जाता है तब उसके शरीर में कोई महानता नहीं होती। लेकिन जब परमेश्वर किसी व्यक्ति को जिलाएगा तब परमेश्वर उस व्यक्ति के शरीर को अपनी महिमा से भर देगा। जब कोई व्यक्ति मर जाता है तब उसका शरीर शक्तिहीन हो जाता है। लेकिन जब परमेश्वर किसी व्यक्ति को जिलाएगा तब परमेश्वर उस व्यक्ति के शरीर को अपनी शक्ति से भर देगा। | 43 When a person dies, his body has no greatness. But when God raises a person from the dead, He will fill his body with His glory. When a person dies, his body becomes powerless. But when God raises a person, He will fill his body with His power. |
| 44 व्यक्ति का बाहरी शरीर मर जाएगा लेकिन आत्मिक शरीर फिर से जीवित हो जाएगा। बाहरी शरीर और आत्मिक शरीर हैं। | 44 A person’s physical body will die, but a spiritual body will rise. There are physical and spiritual bodies. |
| 45 शास्त्र कहते हैं, “आदम पहला व्यक्ति था जिसे सांसारिक जीवन मिला। और मसीह आखिरी आदम बना जो आत्मिक जीवन देता है।” | 45 The Scripture says, "Adam was the first man to receive physical life. But Christ became the last Adam, who gives spiritual life." |
| 46 पहले बाहरी शरीर जन्म लेता है और उसके बाद आत्मिक शरीर जन्म लेता है लेकिन उल्टा नहीं। | 46 First, a physical body is born, then a spiritual one — not the other way around. |
| 47 पहला आदमी धरती से आया क्योंकि परमेश्वर ने उसे धरती की धूल से बनाया था। और दूसरा आदमी स्वर्ग से आया। | 47 The first man came from the earth, because God created him from the dust of the earth. But the second Man came from heaven. |
| 48 सांसारिक लोग सांसारिक आदम की तरह दिखाई देते हैं। और स्वर्गीय लोग मसीह की तरह दिखाई देते हैं जो स्वर्ग से आया था। | 48 Earthly people are like the earthly Adam. But heavenly people are like Christ, who came from heaven. |
| 49 अभी हम आदम की तरह दिखाई देते हैं जिसे परमेश्वर ने मिट्टी से बनाया। लेकिन हम मसीह की तरह दिखाई देंगे जो स्वर्ग से आया था। | 49 Now we are like Adam, whom God created from the earth. But one day we will become like Christ, who came from heaven. |

But when we receive our inheritance in God’s Kingdom, our earthly bodies will not be able to enter it, because the mortal cannot inherit the immortal. |
| 51 मैं आपको भेद की बात बताऊँगा। कुछ विश्वासी अपने सांसारिक जीवन में प्रभु के आगमन को देखेंगे। और फिर सभी जीवित और मरे हुए लोगों के शरीर अचानक बदल दिए जाएंगे। | 51 I will reveal a mystery to you. Some believers will see the coming of the Lord during their earthly lives. Then the bodies of both the living and the dead will be suddenly transformed. |
| 52 यह तुरन्त होगा जब आखिरी तुरही फूंकी जाएगी। और फिर मरे हुए लोग हमेशा जीवित रहने के लिए जी उठेंगे। और जो विश्वासी प्रभु के आने के समय पृथ्वी पर जीवित रहेंगे, वे बदल जाएंगे। | 52 This will happen instantly, when the last trumpet sounds. Then the dead will rise to live forever. And those believers who are living on earth at the time of the Lord's coming will also be transformed. |
| 53 अभी हमारे शरीर मौत के पीछे चलते हैं। लेकिन विश्वासियों को ऐसे शरीर प्राप्त करने हैं जो कभी नहीं मरेंगे। हमारे नाशवान शरीरों को अमर होना है। | 53 Now our bodies are subject to death. But believers must receive bodies that will never die. Our mortal bodies must become immortal. |
| 54 वह समय आएगा जब मरे हुए लोग अनन्त जीवन के लिए फिर से जीवित हो जाएंगे और वे नाशवान शरीर की जगह अमर शरीर को प्राप्त करेंगे। फिर जो वचन भविष्यवक्ताओं ने शास्त्र में लिखा है, वह पूरा होगा, “परमेश्वर ने विजय को जीता लिया और इसने मौत को नष्ट कर दिया।” | 54 The time will come when the dead will be raised for eternal life, and they will receive immortal bodies instead of mortal ones. Then the word that the prophet wrote in the Scriptures will be fulfilled: "God has won the victory that has destroyed death” (Isaiah 25:8). |
| 55 हे मौत, तू फिर कभी नहीं जीतेगी! हे मौत, तू फिर कभी अपना डंक नहीं मार पाएगी! | 55 "Death, you will never win again! Death, you will never strike with your sting again!" (Hosea 13:14). |
| 56 मूसा का कानून दिखाता है कि मानव जाती पाप की शक्ति के अधीन है। लोग पाप करते हैं इसलिए मौत उन्हें डंक मारती है। | 56 The Law of Moses shows that people are under the power of sin. They sin, and this leads to death. That is why death strikes people with its sting. |

| 58 हे मेरे प्यारे भाइयों, परमेश्वर पर दृढ़ता से विश्वास करें और शक न करें। आपको जानना चाहिए कि जो कुछ भी आप प्रभु के लिए करते हैं वह फल लाएगा। इसलिए आपको हमेशा पूरे समर्पण के साथ उसके लिए काम करना चाहिए। | 58 My dear brothers, stand firm in your faith and do not doubt. You should know that everything you do for the Lord will bring results. So, always work for Him with full dedication. |
अध्याय 16 | Chapter 16 |
| 1 अब मैं यह बात करना चाहूँगा कि आपको यरूशलेम में रहने वाले परमेश्वर के पवित्र लोगों के लिए पैसा कैसे इकट्ठा करना चाहिए। जो आज्ञा मैंने गलातिया के चर्चों में दी थी, उसी का पालन करें। | 1 Now I want to speak about how you should collect an offering for God’s holy people who live in Jerusalem. Follow the instructions I gave in the churches of Galatia. |
| 2 जब मैं आप के पास आऊँगा तब मैं पैसे इकट्ठा नहीं करना चाहता। इसलिए सप्ताह के पहले दिन आप में से हर एक अपनी कमाई के अनुसार जितना हो सके पैसा अलग करें और बचा कर रखें। | 2 On the first day of the week, let each of you set aside a portion of what he has earned. Do this in advance, so that you do not have to gather everything in a rush when I come to you. |
| 3 जब मैं आप के पास आऊँगा तब मैं पत्र लिखूँगा और उन्हें उन लोगों के साथ भेजूँगा जिन्हें आप चुनेंगे। और वे यरूशलेम में आपकी आर्थिक मदद पहुँचाएंगे। | 3 When I am with you, I will write letters and send them with those people whom you choose. And they will deliver your offering to Jerusalem. |
| 4 और अगर ज़रूरी होगा तो मैं भी यरूशलेम जाऊँगा। और तब आपके लोग मेरे साथ चलेंगे। | 4 And if necessary, I will also go to Jerusalem. In that case, some of your people will accompany me. |
