अध्याय 1 | Chapter 1 |
1 मैं पौलुस हूँ और मैं परमेश्वर की इच्छा से यीशु मसीह का प्रेरित बना हूँ। मैं और भाई तिमुथियुस आपको नमस्कार कर रहे हैं।
2 मैं कुलुस्सियों में रहने वाले यीशु मसीह में पवित्र और वफ़ादार भाइयों को लिख रहा हूँ।
3 हमारे पिता परमेश्वर और प्रभु यीशु मसीह की ओर से आपको अनुग्रह और शान्ति मिले। हम हमेशा आपके लिए प्रार्थना करते हैं और परमेश्वर को धन्यवाद देते हैं जो हमारे प्रभु यीशु मसीह का पिता है।
4 हमें पता चला है कि आप यीशु मसीह पर विश्वास करते हैं और परमेश्वर के सभी पवित्र लोगों से प्यार करते हैं।
5 जब आपने मसीह के बारे में अच्छी खबर सुनी तब आपने परमेश्वर के सच्चे वचन पर विश्वास किया। इसलिए आप पहले ही जान चुके हैं कि परमेश्वर ने आप के लिए स्वर्ग में अपनी विरासत तैयार की है। और आपको पूरा यकीन है कि आपको परमेश्वर की विरासत मिलेगी।
6 जिस दिन आपने मसीह के बारे में सच्चाई सुनी तब आप समझ गए कि परमेश्वर का अनुग्रह क्या है। फिर अच्छी खबर आपके अन्दर रहने लगी। अब आप यीशु पर विश्वास करते हैं और उसके बारे में अच्छी खबर को पूरी दुनियाँ में फैलाते हैं। यह परिणाम लाता है और बहुत से लोग मसीह के पास आते हैं। उनका विश्वास भी आपकी तरह बढ़ रहा है।
7 हमारे प्यारे भाई इपफ्रास ने आपको मसीह के बारे में अच्छी खबर का प्रचार किया। वह आपके बीच में काम करता है और वफादारी से मसीह की सेवा करता है।
8 उसने हमें बताया कि पवित्र आत्मा ने आप को प्रेम से भर दिया है।
9 उस समय से जब हमने यह सुना, हम नियमित रूप से आपके लिए प्रार्थना करते हैं। हम परमेश्वर से प्रार्थना करते हैं कि वह आपको इसका पूरा ज्ञान दे कि वह आपके जीवन में क्या करना चाहता है। परमेश्वर आपको सारी बुद्धि और आत्मिक समझ दे।
10 आपको उन मांगों के अनुसार जीना हैं, जो प्रभु ने हमें दी हैं। हमेशा इस तरह से काम करें कि आप उसे खुश करें। अच्छे काम करें और आप देखेंगे कि वे परिणाम लाएंगे। परमेश्वर के ज्ञान में अधिक से अधिक बढ़ते जाएं।
11 प्रभु के पास सारी शक्ति और महिमा है। इसलिए आपको उसकी सारी शक्ति के साथ खुद को मजबूत करने के लिए उसके पास आना चाहिए। तब आप आनन्द से जीएंगे क्योंकि आप सहनशीलता और धीरज का विकास कर सकेंगे।
12 पिता परमेश्वर को धन्यवाद दें जिसने हमें अपनी विरासत को पाने का अधिकार दिया। हम परमेश्वर के उन सभी पवित्र लोगों के साथ इस विरासत को बाटेंगे, जो ज्योति में जीते हैं।
13 परमेश्वर ने हमें अन्धकार से बचाया और अन्धकार ने हमारे ऊपर अपनी शक्ति खो दी। परमेश्वर हमें अपने राज्य में लाया, जहाँ उसका प्यारा बेटा राज करता है।
14 जब परमेश्वर के बेटे ने अपना खून बहाया तब वह हमारी आज़ादी के लिए कीमत चुकाई और हमने पापों की माफ़ी पाई।
15 परमेश्वर का बेटा अनदेखे परमेश्वर की परछाई है। दुनियाँ को बनाने से पहले पिता ने अपने बेटे को जन्म दिया।
16 परमेश्वर ने वह सब कुछ बनाया, जो स्वर्ग और पृथ्वी पर मौजूद है। उसने वह सब कुछ बनाया जो हम देख सकते हैं और जो हम नहीं देख सकते। उसने राजाओं के लिए देशों पर शासन करने का अधिकार बनाया। और उसने यह अधिकार लोगों को दिया। उसने दूसरों की अगुवाई करने के लिए शासकों को नियुक्त किया। परमेश्वर ने सब कुछ बनाया और उसने यह अपने लिए किया।
17 सब चीजों से पहले परमेश्वर मौजूद था और वह सारी सृष्टि को एक साथ थाम कर रखता है।
18 परमेश्वर का बेटा चर्च का सिर बन गया और चर्च उसका शरीर है। वह सब कुछ की शुरुआत है और वही पहला है, जो मौत से जिलाया गया था। इसलिए वह हर चीज में पहला है।
19 और पिता इससे खुश है कि सब परिपूर्णता उस के बेटे में है।
20 परमेश्वर के बेटे ने क्रूस पर अपना खून बहाया। और परमेश्वर ने अपने बेटे के द्वारा स्वर्ग में और पृथ्वी पर मौजूद सभी को शान्ति दी। पिता ने अपने बेटे के द्वारा अपने साथ सभी लोगों का मेलमिलाप कर लिया।
21 आप परमेश्वर से बहुत दूर थे। आप बुरे काम कर रहे थे और आपके मन में परमेश्वर के लिए दुश्मनी थी।
22 जब मसीह का बाहरी शरीर क्रूस पर मर गया तब उसने अपनी मौत से चर्च को बनाया और इसे अपना शरीर कहा। उसने अपने शरीर में आपका परमेश्वर के साथ मेलमिलाप कराया। इसलिए आप परमेश्वर की उपस्थिति में हैं। और वह आपको पवित्र, निर्दोष और बिना किसी गलती के देखता है।
23 लेकिन आपको पूरी तरह से विश्वास करना है और शक नहीं करना। जब आपने मसीह के बारे में अच्छी खबर सुनी तब इससे आपको मजबूत आशा मिली। इस आशा को न खोना। धरती पर रहने वाले सभी लोगों को यह अच्छी खबर सुननी चाहिए। इसलिए मैं, पौलुस, मसीह के बारे में अच्छी खबर का प्रचार करने के लिए सेवक बन गया।
24 जब मसीह ने क्रूस पर दु:ख उठाया तब उसने चर्च को बनाया। और मैं भी आप के कारण दु:ख उठाता हूँ। लेकिन मैं आनन्दित हूँ कि मैं चर्च के कारण, जो मसीह का शरीर है शारीरिक दु:ख उठाता हूँ। लेकिन मैं अपने दु:खों की तुलना मसीह के दु:खों से नहीं कर सकता।
25 मैं चर्च की सेवा करता हूँ और परमेश्वर का घर बनाता हूँ। परमेश्वर ने मुझे आपके फ़ायदे के लिए यह जिम्मेदारी दी है ताकि मैं परमेश्वर के वचन को पूरा करता हूँ।
26 सदियों से परमेश्वर के वचन में रहस्य छिपा था। और पिछली पीढ़ी के लोग इस रहस्य को नहीं जानते थे। लेकिन अब परमेश्वर ने इसको अपने पवित्र लोगों पर प्रकट किया।
27 और यही वह रहस्य है, जिसे परमेश्वर अपने पवित्र लोगों को दिखाना चाहता था। परमेश्वर ने अन्यजाति लोगों को अपनी महिमा से अमीर बनाया। हे अन्यजाति लोगों, मसीह आप में रहता है। और बिल्कुल यकीन करें कि आप उसकी महिमा में प्रवेश करेंगे।
28 हम मसीह के बारे में प्रचार करते हैं और लोगों को सच्चाई की समझ की ओर लाते हैं। हम हर व्यक्ति को पूरी बुद्धि के साथ सिखाते हैं ताकि हर व्यक्ति यीशु मसीह में परिपक्व होता जाता है।
29 इसलिए मैं इतनी कड़ी मेहनत करता हूँ और अपनी सेवकाई में मुझे जिन कठिनाइयों का सामना करना पड़ता है उन्हें धीरज से सहता हूँ। और मैं पूरी तरह से मसीह की शक्ति पर भरोसा करता हूँ, जो मेरे अन्दर शक्तिशाली रूप में काम करती है। | 1 I am Paul, and I became the apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God. I and brother Timothy are greeting you.
2 I am writing to you, to the holy and faithful brothers in Christ Jesus, who live in Colosse.
3 Receive grace and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. We always pray for you and give thanks to God who is the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
4 We got to know that you believe in Jesus Christ and love all the holy people of God.
5 When you heard the Good News about Christ, you believed in the true Word of God. So you have already know that God prepared His inheritance for you in heaven. And you have full confidence that you will receive this inheritance of God.
6 The day when you heard the truth about Christ, you understood what God’s grace is. And the Good News started living in you. Now you believe in Jesus and spread the Good News about Him throughout the world. It brings results, and many people come to Christ. Their faith grows the same way as yours.
7 Our dear brother Epaphras preached to you the Good News about Jesus. He works among you and faithfully serves Christ.
8 He told us that the Holy Spirit filled you with love.
9 Since that time when we heard of it, we regularly pray for you. We ask God to give you complete knowledge of what He wants to do. May God give you all the wisdom and spiritual understanding.
10 You must live according to the requirements which the Lord gave us. Always act in such a way that you would please Him. Do good deeds, and you will see that they will bring results. Grow in the knowledge of God more and more.
11 Strengthen yourself with all of God’s power, with His might and His glory. Grow in endurance, be patient and rejoice.
12 Thank God the Father who gave us the right to get His inheritance. We will share the inheritance with all the holy people of God who live in the light.
13 God saved us from the darkness, and the darkness lost its power over us. God brought us into the Kingdom in which His beloved Son rules.
14 The Son of God shed His blood, paid for our freedom, and we received the forgiveness of sins.
15 The Son of God is the image of the invisible God. The Father gave birth to His Son before He created the world.
16 God created everything that exists in heaven and on earth. He created everything what we can see and what we cannot see. He created authority for kings to rule over countries. And He gave this authority to people. He appointed rulers to lead others. God created everything, and He did it for Himself.
17 God existed before anything else, and He holds all the creation together.
18 The Son of God became the head of the Church, and the Church is His Body. He is the beginning of everything, and He is the first who was raised from the dead. He is the first in everything.
19 All perfection is in the Son of God, and the Father is pleased with it.
20 The Son of God shed His blood on the cross. And God made peace with all that exist in heaven and on earth through His Son. The Father reconciled with Himself everything through His Son.
21 You used to be far from God. You were doing evil deeds, and you were hostile to God in your mind.
22 The physical body of Christ died on the cross. And He created the Church through His death and called it His Body. He reconciled you with God in His Body. You stand in the presence of God, and He sees you holy, blameless, and without any fault.
23 But you must fully believe and do not doubt. You heard the Good News about Christ, and it brought you firm hope. Do not lose this hope. Everyone who lives under the heavens should hear this News. And I, Paul, serve everybody and preach the Good News about Christ.
24 Christ suffered and created the Church. And I suffer because of you, but I rejoice. I suffer physically because of the Church, and the Church is the Body of Christ. But I cannot compare my sufferings with the sufferings of Christ.
25 I serve the Church and build the house of God. God gave me this responsibility for your benefit, and I fulfill the Word of God.
26 For centuries the secret was hidden in the Word of God. Previous generations of people did not know this secret. But now God revealed it to His holy people.
27 And this is the secret which God wanted to show to His people. God made the Gentiles rich with His glory. Gentiles, Christ lives in you. Be absolutely sure that you will enter into His glory.
28 We preach about Christ and bring people to understanding of the truth. We teach each person with all the wisdom, and each person becomes mature in Jesus Christ.
29 So I work hard and make a lot of efforts. I rely on the power of Christ which works in me in a mighty way. |
अध्याय 2 | Chapter 2 |
1 मैं चाहता हूँ कि आप यह जानें कि मुझे बहुत कठिनाइयों का सामना करना पड रहा है। लेकिन मैं प्रभु की सेवा करता जा रहा हूँ। मैं प्रार्थना करता हूँ कि मेरी सेवा आपके लिए और लौदीकिया में रहने वालों के लिए आशीष लाए। हालांकि आप में से कुछ लोग हैं जो मुझसे कभी नहीं मिले।
2 मैं चाहता हूँ कि आप एक दूसरे से प्यार करें। प्यार जोड़ता है और दिलों में शान्ति लाता है। मैं प्रार्थना करता हूँ कि पिता परमेश्वर मसीह के बारे में अपने रहस्य को आप पर प्रकट करे। मैं परमेश्वर से यह भी प्रार्थना करता हूँ कि आप पूरी तरह से और गहराई से इस रहस्य को समझ सकें।
3 मसीह में आपको सभी छिपे हुए खजाने मिलेंगे और वे आपको बुद्धि और ज्ञान देंगे।
4 मैं नहीं चाहता कि कोई आपको अपनी झूठी बातों से मना ले और आपको परमेश्वर की सच्चाई से भटकाए। इसलिए मैं आपको इसके बारे में बता रहा हूँ।
5 शरीर में मैं आपसे बहुत दूर हूँ लेकिन आत्मा में मैं आप के साथ हूँ। मैं देख सकता हूँ कि आप मसीह में मज़बूती से विश्वास करते हैं। और मुझे आनन्द है कि आपके साथ सब कुछ अच्छा है।
6 जब आप यीशु मसीह के पास आए तब आपने उसे अपना प्रभु बनाया। उसका अनुसरण करते रहें और जैसा वह करता है वैसा ही काम करें।
7 मसीह में गहरी जड़ पकड़ते और बढ़ते जाएं। आप जानते हैं कि धन्यवाद देना आपके विश्वास को मजबूत बनाता है। इसलिए जितना अधिक आप परमेश्वर को धन्यवाद देते हैं, आपका विश्वास उतना ही मजबूत होता जाता है।
8 हे भाइयों, दर्शनशास्र में दिलचस्पी मत लीजिए और बकवास पर विश्वास मत कीजिए। इन बातों के पीछे लोगों की परम्पराएँ और नियम हैं जो इस दुनियाँ के लोग बनाते हैं। यह पक्का कर लें कि आप वैसे ही जीते हैं जैसे मसीह सिखाता है।
9 परमेश्वर मसीह के शरीर में होकर आया और वह सिद्धता में मसीह के अन्दर रहता है।
10 आपके पास परमेश्वर की सिद्धता भी है क्योंकि आप मसीह में जीते हैं जो सभी आत्मिक शक्तियों और अधिकारों का मुखिया है।
11 हे अन्यजाति लोगों, आप परमेश्वर के हैं और आपका भी खतना हुआ है। लेकिन यह परमेश्वर था जिसने आप का खतना किया, मनुष्य ने नहीं। यह मसीह था जिसने आप का खतना किया लेकिन उसने आपके बाहरी शरीर को नहीं छुआ। मसीह ने आपके अन्दर के इंसान का खतना किया और आपके पापी स्वभाव को हटा दिया।
12 परमेश्वर ने अपनी शक्ति से मसीह को मरे हुओं में से जिलाया। जब आपने परमेश्वर की शक्ति पर विश्वास किया तब आपका बपतिस्मा हुआ। बपतिस्मा के समय आप पानी के नीचे गए और खुद को मसीह के साथ गाड़ दिया। फिर आप पानी से उपर आए और मसीह के साथ जिलाये गए।
13 आप पाप करते थे और आपके पापों ने आपको मार दिया। आपने अपना खतना नहीं किया और आप परमेश्वर के नहीं थे। लेकिन परमेश्वर ने हमारे सभी पापों को माफ़ किया और हमें मसीह के साथ जीवित कर दिया।
14 हमारे पापों की सूची ने हम पर दोष लगाया और हमें परमेश्वर का कर्जदार बना दिया। लेकिन मसीह ने हमारे पापों की सूची को क्रूस पर कीलों से ठोक दिया और इसे परमेश्वर तक जाने वाले हमारे रास्ते से हटा दिया।
15 मसीह ने शासकों और अधिकारियों को आत्मिक दुनियाँ में दुर्बल बना दिया। उसने खुले में उन्हें शर्मिंदा किया और विजयी होकर उन्हें क्रूस पर हराया।
16 इससे कोई फर्क नहीं पड़ता कि आप क्या खाते और पीते हैं। कोई फर्क नहीं पड़ता कि आप कौन सा यहूदी त्यौहार मनाते हैं। इससे कोई फर्क नहीं पड़ता कि आप नए महीने की शुरुआत को मनाते हैं और आप सबत रखते हैं। उसके लिए कोई आप पर दोष न लगाए।
17 यहूदी रीति रिवाज भविष्य में क्या होगा इसकी छाया थी। और यह भविष्य आ चुका है जब मसीह बाहरी शरीर में होकर आया। अब आपको मसीह के पीछे चलना चाहिए और आपको यहूदी रीति रिवाजों को नहीं मानना चाहिए।
18 कुछ लोग अपनी झूठी दीनता दिखाते हैं और उनके पापी विचार उन्हें घमंडी बनाते हैं। वे दावा करते हैं कि उन्होंने स्वर्गदूतों को देखा, इसलिए वे उनकी पूजा करते हैं। लेकिन उन लोगों पर विश्वास न नहीं करना चाहिए क्योंकि वे आपको धोखा देते हैं।
19 मसीह चर्च का सिर है और चर्च उसका शरीर है। लेकिन ऐसे लोग सिर के साथ जुड़े हुए नहीं हैं। मसीह पूरे शरीर को एक साथ रखता है। वह इसे जोड़ों से जोड़ता है और विभिन्न संबंधों के साथ इसे एक साथ रखता है। परमेश्वर चर्च को खिलाता है और मसीह का शरीर बढ़ता है।
20 इसलिए आप मसीह के साथ उन नियमों के लिए मर गए हैं, जो लोग इस दुनियाँ में बनाते हैं। लेकिन आप ऐसे लोगों की तरह व्यवहार करते रहते हैं। आप अभी भी इन नियमों का पालन करते हैं जो कहते हैं,
21 “इसे न लें। इसे न खाएं। इसे न छूएं।”
22 लोग कुछ चीजों पर रोक लगाते और नियम बनाते हैं लेकिन समय के साथ ये शिक्षाएँ मर जाती हैं।
23 ऐसी शिक्षाएँ बुद्धि से भरी हुई लग सकती हैं क्योंकि लोग अपने धार्मिक उत्साह का दिखावा करते हैं। वे झूठी दीनता में जीते हैं और वे अपने शरीरों को थका देते हैं। लेकिन रोक और नियम किसी व्यक्ति की बुरी इच्छाओं पर विजय नहीं पा सकते। | 1 I want you to know that I am going through big difficulties. But I keep serving the Lord. I pray that my ministry would bring a blessing to you and to those who live in Laodicea. Though some of you have never met me personally.
2 I want you to love one another. Love unites and brings peace to the hearts. I pray that God the Father would reveal to you His mystery about Christ. I also ask God that you could fully and deeply understand this mystery.
3 In Christ you will find all the hidden treasures, and they will bring you wisdom and knowledge.
4 I do not want anyone to convince you with his false words and lead you astray from God’s truth. That is why I am telling you about it.
5 Physically I am far away from you, but spiritually I am with you. I can see that you are going good. You firmly believe in Christ, and it brings me joy.
6 You received the Lord Jesus Christ, and now you must act the way He did.
7 Develop deep roots and grow in Christ. You know that thanksgiving strengthens your faith. Overflow with thanksgiving, and you will make your faith even stronger.
8 Brothers, do not get interested in philosophy and do not believe in nonsense. The traditions of people and rules which people make up in this world stand behind these things. Make sure that you live the way Christ teaches.
9 God came in the body of Christ and lives in Him in a full perfection.
10 And you live in Christ and have full perfection of God. Christ is at the head of all spiritual powers and authorities.
11 Gentiles, you belong to God, and you also went through circumcision. But it was God who circumcised you. It was Christ who circumcised you. He did not touch your physical body. Christ circumcised your inner person. Christ removed your sinful nature.
12 God raised Christ from the dead by His power. You believe in a powerful God, that is why you were baptized. During baptism you went under the water and buried yourself together with Christ. Then you rose from the water and became alive together with Christ.
13 You used to sin, and your sins made you dead. You did not circumcise yourself, and you did not belong to God. But God forgave us all our sins and made us alive together with Christ.
14 The list of our sins accused us and made us debtors to God. But Christ nailed the list of our sins to the cross and removed it from our way to God.
15 Christ made the rulers and authorities powerless in the spiritual world. He publicly shamed them and triumphantly defeated them on the cross.
16 It does not matter what you eat and drink. No matter what Jewish festivals you celebrate. It doesn’t matter if you celebrate the beginning of new month, and if you keep the Sabbath. Let no one accuse you for that.
17 Jewish rituals were a shadow of what was to happen in the future. And this future already came. Christ came in a physical body. Now follow Christ, and not His shadow.
18 Some people show off their false humility. They claim that they saw angels, so they worship them. Their sinful thoughts make such people proud. Do not believe these people, they deceive you.
19 Christ is the head of His Body, but such people are not united with the Head. Christ holds the whole Body together. He connects it with joints and holds it together with various connections. God feeds the Body of Christ, and the Church grows.
20 So you died with Christ to the rules which people make up in this world. But why do you still obey these rules? You behave like the people of this world.
21 “Do not take it. Do not eat it. Do not touch it”.
22 People prohibit things and make rules, but over time these teachings die.
23 Such teachings may look wise. People show off their religious zeal. They live in false humility. And they make their bodies exhausted. But prohibitions and rules do not overcome the evil desires of a person. |
अध्याय 3 | Chapter 3 |
1 आप मसीह के साथ जिलाए गए हैं जो परमेश्वर के दाहिने ओर आदर की जगह पर स्वर्ग में बैठा है। इसलिए आपको स्वर्ग की बातों पर ध्यान देना चाहिए।
2 आत्मिक बातों के बारे में सोचें, न कि सांसारिक चीजों के बारे में।
3 आप पापी जीवन के लिए मर गये। आपने परमेश्वर में इस दुनियाँ से सुरक्षित शरण पाई है। और अब आप मसीह के साथ नया जीवन जीते हैं।
4 जब वह पृथ्वी पर आएगा तब आप भी उसके साथ उसकी महिमा में आएंगे।
5 इसलिए अपने पापी स्वभाव को मार डालें। गलत यौन संबंधों, बुरी इच्छाओं, लतों और गन्दी वासना को मारना होगा। अपने लालच को मार डालें जो इन्सान को मूर्तियों जैसी चीजों की आराधना करने के लिए अगुवाई करता है।
6 लेकिन लोग पाप करते रहते हैं और परमेश्वर से दुश्मनी रखते हैं। और परमेश्वर इस के कारण उनसे गुस्सा होगा।
7 पहले आप दूसरे लोगों की तरह जीवन जीते थे। आप भी वैसे ही पाप करते थे जैसे सभी लोग करते हैं।
8 लेकिन अब आपको जीने का पुराना तरीका छोड़ना होगा। गुस्सा न करें और अति क्रोधित न हों। बुरे कामों में हिस्सा न लें। एक दूसरे का अपमान न करें और गन्दे शब्द न बोलें।
9 एक दूसरे से झूठ न बोलें। अपने अन्दर के इंसान से पापी स्वभाव को पुराने कपड़ों की तरह उतार दें। और अपने पापी स्वभाव के पास वापस न जाएं।
10 परमेश्वर के नए स्वभाव को पहन लें। परमेश्वर को जानें और सृष्टिकर्ता की तरह बनने के लिए अपने अन्दर के इंसान को नया बनाएं।
11 अब यह महत्वपूर्ण नहीं कि आप अन्यजाति लोग हैं या यहूदी। खतना किए हुए व्यक्ति और खतनारहित व्यक्ति के बीच कोई फर्क नहीं। इससे कोई फर्क नहीं पड़ता कि आप कौन सी भाषा बोलते हैं या आप किस नागरिकता के हैं। यह महत्वपूर्ण नहीं कि आप गुलाम हैं या आज़ाद हैं। अब मसीह ने हम सभी को अपने आप में एक कर दिया है।
12 परमेश्वर आपसे प्यार करता है। उसने आप को चुना और आपको पवित्र बनाया। इसलिए अपने अन्दर के इंसान को परमेश्वर का नया स्वभाव पहनाएं। दया दिखाएं और अच्छे काम करें। एक दूसरे के साथ घमंड से व्यवहार न करें, दयालु बनें और धीरज रखें।

15 परमेश्वर की शान्ति आपके दिलों को भर दे और आपको सही फैसले लेने में मदद करे। आप मसीह के एक शरीर के अंग बन गए। इसलिए आपको शान्ति से रहना चाहिए और आपस में मित्रता से रहना चाहिए।
16 जो मसीह ने कहा उसे ध्यान से पढ़ें। तब उसके वचन आप के अंदर रहेंगे और यह आपको बुद्धिमान बनाएगा। भजन संहिता से प्रशंसा के गीत सीखें, जिन्हें राजा दाऊद ने लिखा था। स्तुति के गीत गाकर एक दूसरे को उत्साहित करें। एक दूसरे को नए गीतों से उत्साहित करें, जो पवित्र आत्मा आपको देती है। यह समझने के लिए हर संभव प्रयास करें कि परमेश्वर का अनुग्रह क्या है और तब आपके दिल प्रभु के लिए गाएंगे।
17 आप प्रभु यीशु मसीह को दर्शाते हैं। इसलिए उसके नाम में बोलें और उसके प्रतिनिधियों की तरह काम करें। मसीह के द्वारा पिता के पास आएं और उसका धन्यवाद करें।
18 हे पत्नियों, आपको अपने पति की बात माननी चाहिए। जो प्रभु में हैं उन्हें ऐसा ही व्यवहार करना चाहिए।
19 हे पतियों, आपको अपनी पत्नी से प्यार करना चाहिए और उनका अपमान नहीं करना चाहिए।
20 हे बच्चों, आपको हर बात में अपने माता-पिता की आज्ञा माननी चाहिए क्योंकि इससे प्रभु आनंदित होता है।
21 हे पिताओं, आपको अपने बच्चों के साथ झगड़ा नहीं करना चाहिए, नहीं तो, आपके बच्चे अपने आप को आपसे दूर कर लेंगे।
22 हे दासों, आपको हर बात में अपने सांसारिक स्वामियों की आज्ञा माननी चाहिए। उन्हें हमेशा खुश रखना चाहिए, न कि सिर्फ़ तब जब वे आपको देख रहे हैं। गहरी श्रद्धा के साथ परमेश्वर के साथ व्यवहार करें और अपने स्वामियों की सच्चे दिल से सेवा करें।

25 लेकिन अगर आप बुराई करते हैं तो बुराई आपके पास लौट आएगी। परमेश्वर सभी लोगों से न्याय से बर्ताव करता है। | 1 You are resurrected with Christ. Pay attention to the reality of heaven. Christ sits in heavens, and He is in a place of honor on the right hand of God.
2 Think of the spiritual things, and not the of earthly things.
3 You died for sinful life. Now you live a new life with Christ. In God you found a safe shelter from this world.
4 Live with Christ. And when He comes to the earth then you will come with Him in His glory.
5 So make your sinful nature dead. Sexual immorality and evil desires, addictions and nasty lust must die. Greed leads a person to worship things like an idol. Kill your greed.
6 People sin and become hostile to God. And God will be angry with them because of this.
7 You used to live like everyone else. You used to do same kinds of sins like all people do.
8 But now you must leave the old way of life. Do not get angry and do not become furious. Do not take part in evil activities. Do not insult one another and do not say impure words.
9 Do not lie to one another. Take off your sinfulness from your inner person like old clothes. And don’t go back to your sinful behavior.
10 Put on the new nature of God. God created man in His own image. So get to know God and renew your inner person. And you will become like the Creator.
11 Now it is not important if you are the Gentiles or Jews. There is no difference between a circumcised person and an uncircumcised person. It does not matter what language you speak or what nationality you are. It is not important if you are slaves or free. Now Christ united all of us in Himself.
12 God loves you. He chose you and made you holy. So put the new nature of God on your inner person. Show compassion and do good things. Do not rise above one another, be kind and very patient.
13 Accept one another despite the weaknesses. Forgive if you have reasons to complain. Forgive one another as Christ forgave you.
14 But the most important is to dress your inner person in love. Love unites and brings perfection.
15 May God’s peace rule over your hearts. You became the members of one Body of Christ that is why you must live in peace. Be friendly with one another.
16 Study carefully what Christ said. Then His Word will live in you and it will make you wise. Learn the songs of praise from the Psalms which King David wrote. Encourage one another with solemn hymns of worship. Inspire each other with new songs which the Holy Spirit gives you. Do your best to learn what God’s grace is, then your hearts will sing to the Lord.
17 You represent the Lord Jesus Christ. So speak in His name and act as His representatives. Come through Christ to God the Father and thank Him.
18 Wives, obey your husbands. This is how should behave those who belong to the Lord.
19 Husbands, love your wives and do not offend them.
20 Children, obey your parents in everything. It brings joy to the Lord.
21 Fathers, do not make conflicts with your children, otherwise your children will close themselves off from you.
22 Slaves, obey your earthly masters in everything. Please them always, and not only when they are watching you. Treat God with deep reverence and serve your masters with a sincere heart.
23 Love what you do. Work diligently, as you would work for the Lord, and not for the people.
24 You should know that you serve Christ, and He is your Lord. He will reward you, and you will receive an inheritance.
25 But if you do evil then evil will return to you. God treats all people with justice. |

1 हे स्वामियों, आपको अपने दासों के साथ निष्पक्ष और ईमानदार रहना चाहिए। याद रखें कि आपके ऊपर भी एक प्रभु है, जो स्वर्ग में है।
2 नियमित रूप से प्रार्थना के लिए अपना समय समर्पित करें। आभारी दिल से प्रार्थना करें और प्रार्थना करते समय आपका मन इधर उधर भटकने न पाए।
3 मैं बन्दी बना क्योंकि मैंने प्रभु के बारे में प्रचार किया। इसलिए हमारे लिए भी प्रार्थना करें ताकि परमेश्वर हमारे लिए अपने वचन का प्रचार करने के लिए दरवाजे खोल दे। तब हम दूसरों को मसीह के रहस्य के बारे में बता सकेंगे।
4 मेरे बारे में प्रार्थना करें क्योंकि मुझे मसीह के रहस्य को साफ़ शब्दों में समझाना है।
5 अविश्वासियों के साथ बुद्धिमानी से काम करें। उनके साथ उपयोगी बातों में समय बिताएं।

11 Jesus who everyone calls Justus is sending greetings to you. These are the only Jews who work with me for the Kingdom of God. And they bring me a great joy.
12 Epaphras is one of your own people. He is the servant of Jesus Christ, and he is also greeting you. He always prays hard for you. He asks God to make you mature. He prays that you would fully understand what God wants to do.
